This is great content, Dan - thank you so much! The technical points are so insightful. I play a short game drill where I chip to 9 nine pins and have to hole out with a putter. I scatter 9 balls around the practice area so bunker shots are included as well. I use the scoring system where up and down is a birdie; anything higher is bogey. Have you demonstrated the chip putt in your videos? This shot saves me so many times. Hole out with a lot too.

Great video Dan. Your pressure game will be added to my routine immediately! I like to keep a running competition between hole outs and shots that finish off the green. Please practice reading the green. On my very steep practice green, I drill on trying to leave a six inch putt coming straight up the hill. Brad Faxon advises one to locate that spot as soon as possible. I see so many golfers practicing wedges who hit an uphill shot a bit long and left and think they hit a good shot. They three putt from that position on the golf course and then blame their putting.

Fantastic video! I really love this 15-20 min format. It's really helpful. I noted the "holster" tip, which I'm going to focus on next time. You mentioned how you make sure to make the ball fly straight toward the pin. I struggle with the dispersion (both on the left and right). Could you please explain in a next video how you do that for each release, both on the grass and the sand? It would be amazing!

The one thing i noticed in the short game with different clubs, ie Callaway DCB, TM 790 and Ping i200, is the way the ball comes off these clubs, its chalk and cheese in the way the ball feels and come off the face. next set of clubs i get will depend a lot on feel, some of the above have absolutely no feel, the best is the Ping but i am sure there are better feeling clubs out there.

Schedule a Club Fitting for your next set of Irons. If you can get to a Pro Shop or Golf Store that allows you to "Hit Indoors" RESEARCH by trying short Pitches and Chips with any Irons you might be interested in. Find 2 or 3 Models that "Feel Good" for Short Shots and then select those Models to test during your Fitting. 😉
