so the Ø in the danish alfabeth is basically an U or O depebdubg on the word? And Æ Is basically either A, or E? Am I right or am I wrong??

I'm not very familiar with Swedish, but Danish is like in English, those vowels don't sound the same in every word. To me if I should compare, the Æ sounds more like an E in German or Spanish. Ø is another vowel that sounds different depending on the word, sometimes sounds like an 0, or an U, or even like a German Ö, but when stands alone, like Ø which btw means island, or Sø which means sea, well, in cases like those, the Ø has a very unique sound, which imo has to be practiced quiet many times to master :)

So danish 'a' is exactly the same as english 'a'?

It might seem to sound similar but they don't sound exactly the same. A in English is /eɪ/, in Danish is /æˀ/. But again, when spoken placed inside a word, it can sound different depending on the word.
