13 billion can be used for the rail transport systems all over Nepal, which will increase intra-tourism in Nepal and might reduce many bus accidents. We already have 3 big airports which is sufficient for Nepal. Now it's time for a rail transport system, the basic airport in every district if possible needed. After that, if in future such a big airport is needed then future generations will be built this.

धेरै सन्तुलित भएर ,निस्पक्क्ष भइ राखेको भनाइ एकदम मन छोयो , धेरै प्रभावित भए। अनि प्रस्तुतिमा धेरै अध्यन गरेको भेट्टाए। बातावरणका प्रभाव ,भौतिक सुबिधा र आधुनिक बिकास ,नेपालको लागि प्राथमिकता को अन्य बिसय अनि नेपालका प्रसासक हरुको लापरबाही प्रति सजक हुन र खबरदारी गराउन यो सब्यद्रिस्य एकदम सफल छ। मेरो निस्कर्ष चाही अहिलेको नेपालको प्राथमिकता भनेको भौतिक सुबिधा ले जोड्ने भन्दा भावनात्मक रुपले जोड्नु पर्ने आवस्यकता छ। तेसैले सरकार , निशुल्क शिक्षा अनि स्वस्थ देउ पहिला ,ठुलो कुरा नगर । खर्च धान्न नसकेर धेरै मान्छे डिप्रेसन भयो ,आत्महत्या बढ्यो ,सामाजिक बिचलन बढ्यो ,खुसी हुने बहाना हरायो। काम कुरो अर्को तिर ,कुम्लो बोकी ठिमी तिर। जय नेपाल।।।

I believe, in Nepal we do not have good diplomats and foreign ministry because of which they are not able to crack geopolitics with India and going in loans with China because that’s easier. Lumbini Airport would fail miserably if they do not find a way. Airport haina, Ramro and intellectual foreign ministry and diplomats chahiyo. Country needs good neighbours and neighbour is not made by loans but by relationship.

Nepal is not yet ready for Nijgadh Airport. Pahila bhako Airport ko proper utilization huna paryo... 1960s ma when yo kura pahila aako thiyo it made much sense as Nepal had a huge opportunity to be the only International airport in South East Asia operating in Hub and Spoke model. Ahiley Hub and spoke model ko jamana ni gayi sakyo.... Ahiley hub and spoke model ko time ni gayi sakyo... All new airlines are trending towards Point to point airports and the aircraft like B787, and A350 are designed with this thing in mind. And someone in the video was talking about "Emergency Landings" ... ahiley ko jamana ko aircraft are so well maintained ki its very rare for them to have emergency landings. You cannot rely on them to make business. Ahiley ko focus bhaneko kaarari Gautam Budhha Int. Airport ra Pokhara Inter. Airport lai worthy banauney ho so they can pay off their debt tira focus huna parcha. Govt. should introduce subsidiaries to airlines operating in those airports. Jun amount ma hariyo ban jungle masiney kura hudai chan, this is way too much and our next generation will not forgive us for this.

Yes, exactly my point too. Leave environmental aspect aside. NIA, now, doesn't make any sense even economically in the short to medium term future (30-40 yrs). Spending NPR 100B+ on a single infrastructure project for a country with small economic size like ours is beyond my wildest imagination. There's no economic sense this project makes even in the long term future. Political Leaders are aggressively pushing this project because it's a massive honey pot. One project with $100B+ budget. Their eyes & mouth are watering due to the mega size of the budget. This budget will be 1000 times better utilized if we can diversify & invest it in roads, health, education, agriculture & other sectors of our economy.

One of the reasons to oppose the construction is shifting of water table of that region as well. It is one of the best location in Nepal for fisheries (Pokhari). Sarkar le afaile nai tyo thau lai xuttyayeko xa. Tya water table tala jada ahile bhayeka Pokhari n sukne ani further tyaha ko locals (Whole Bara District may be affected) lai nai gaaro parxa.

BIA & PIA were both mistakes. NIA should have had the priority & gone ahead albeit in a massive trimmed down version (25% of the proposed budget but securing area for future expansion). PIA got the budget because of massive lobbying by late MP & Tourism Minister Rabindra Adhikari who is from Pokhara. I'm a Pokhreli & I have been against PIA since more than 1 & half decades ago. But tourism entreprenuers from Pkr got over excited & pushed the agenda via Rabindra who himself was also equally hawkish about the project. BIA might have had similar story since it's another tourist hub city. Sadly there were no-one lobbying for Nijgadh before PIA & BIA got the green light because there were no clever MPs from that area.

If this airport goes ahead with the build-up phase, Nepal is done for, Politicians will be mega-rich while the country will be MEGA poor. Why would international Airlines choose this airport instead of Indian airports? Nepal has no proper transport links ie, proper highways, public transport, airports with good connecting flights, no sea ports, and many more!

Thats not how an ecosystem works. They may be able to plant 27 lakh trees but its impossible to imitate a natural jungle. Many animals and plants depend on the jungle and the jungle depends on them too. So where are all those animals going to go?

We need to search for other alternative rather then going for this mega project. We could work on existing international airport. Budget Flight routes, Cutting the hill of pokhara airport, and so on.

The term "Dark Reality" in the title has nothing to do with the video itself. At what cost?Global warming in real and may be our generation will not feel the the immidite impact but on the long run it’s disastrous.. do you really think the proposed airport is for the benefit of our country,we are basically already on so much of loan and this airport will triple us the loan. And on the environmental impact,global warming is real and every year climate is rising,macchapuchre is being naked,glaciers 100 of thousands year old on himalayas are melting in such a huge rate that experts are claming to be gone by 2030,flooding will destroy everything and few years from it,yours and mines generation will have hard time having drinking water and electricity which i dont think i have to detail you

The deforestation train has taken its stranglehold on Nepal like no other country. Just plant more trees. if you need wood, then you just have to plan more of them. Not love and hug them. Every bigger country has wood as part of its economy. We have been misled in so many ways. But, I agree that forests and rivers should be preserved as well. But not just some "saal trees"

लुम्बिनी विमानस्थललाई सुरक्षा को कारण देखाइ भारतले रुट दिएन भने पोखरा विमानस्थललाई निर्माण गर्न चीनको आर्थिक सहयोग र BRI को हिस्सा भएको statement आयो जसलेगर्दा पोखरा विमानस्थल नेपालको लागि सेतो हात्ती भएको छ । चर्को ब्याजदरमा चीनसंग कर्जा लिएर निर्माण गरिएको कर्जा नेपालले तुरुन्तै फिर्ता गर्नुपर्छ अन्यथा श्रीलंकाको हम्मन sea port जस्तै हुन्छ । नीजगढ विमानस्थल बनाउनु पर्छ तर त्यति ठुलो र महंगो होइन । जति ठुलो बनाउने भनिएको छ ठ्याक्कै त्यसको आधा बनाएमा पनि हाम्रो लागि सहि हुनेछ ।

नेपाल जस्तो भुपरीबेस्टिक देशमा मेघा एयरपोर्ट अतीआबस्यक छ।नेपालमा बड्दो जनसंख्या छ अर्कोतिर ठूलो कार्गो बिमान लेण्ड गर्ने बिमानस्थल छैना यो लाजमर्दो कुरा हो।निजगढ बिमानस्थल बन्नु पर्छ यो बिमानस्थ बनेमा बार्षिक अरबौ डलर नेपालले कमाउनेछ।तर यो बिमान स्थल बन्न नदिन बिभिन्न दलाल माफिया संघ संस्थाहरू राजनितिक दलका नेताहरू लागी परेका छन।भुत्राको बाताबरणमा असर पर्नु?अहिले कुन चाही जंगलमा रूख छ? ठूलो ठूलो सालको रूख वन कर्मचारी वनका सञ्चालक मिलेर सबै रूख बेचेर खाइसकेका छन यसको निगरानी कस्ले कस्ले गरेको छ?बाघ हात्ती जनावर भएका सबै तस्करीहरूले मारेर ब्यापार गरीराछन खोइ नियन्त्रण?नेपालमा हात्ती कहा छ होत्यती धेरै? सबै हात्ती भारतबाट 15/20 दिनको लागी घुम्न आउने मात्र हो।24 लाख रूखको सट्टा मा 50 लाख सरकारले बृक्ष रोपण गरे भयो नि।अर्को कुरा रूख रोप्नु पनी पर्दैना नेपालमा रोजगारछैना सबै बिदेश जाने हो खेतबारी सबै बाझो भइसक्यो ।पहाडी जिल्लामा त खेतबारीहरू सबै 80% जंगल भइसकेको छ।नेपालको वन छेत्र 41% हो अबको 50 बर्षमा नेपाल 70% वनले ढाक्छ।निजगढ बिमान स्थल बन्न कुनै माइकालालले रोक्न सक्दैना जसरी बन्छ प्रचण्ड सरकारले अब शुरू गर्नु पर्छ पेलेरै लाने हो।जे गर्दा पनी बिरोध नै हुनु पर्ने?काम नगर्दा पनी काम गरेना काम गर्न खोज्यो बिरोध।

के पोखरा र गौतम बुद्ध अन्तराष्ट्रिय विमानस्थल सेतो हात्ती हो ? यी एयरपोर्ट बनाउने इन्जिनियर तथा विज्ञ के भ्रष्टाचार गरेको छ? निजगढ एयरपोर्ट पनि भ्रष्ट्राचारको अखडा बन्ने पक्का छ।

निजगढ अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विमानस्थल बनाउनु अनी ईन्डिया संग १००बर्ष सम्म अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय हवाई रुट संबन्धी सम्झौता हुन जरुरी छ । अर्को कुरा सिटी बनाउने काम ठिक छैन।

सरकारको ध्यान कमिसन तिर छ। टाट पल्टिने बेला सबैभन्दा ठुलो बनाएर के गर्ने। बिस लाख कहिले आउने हो छ करोडको उदेश्य। तयो पनि नेपालमा टुरिस्ट खर्च $100, भुटानमा $500 खर्चनछन्।
