A seriously great show; no matter how shit your week had been or how hungover you were that Sunday, this always gave you a boost on Sunday night that sent you to bed feeling all warm and cozy inside, and a spring in your step on Monday morning. And as my late grandmother noted, "all they ever seemed to was EAT!"
@kawaii7653
3 жыл бұрын
Ha ha! I agree! David Jason tends to eat in everything he acts in: Only Fools and Horses and A Touch of Frost saw him frequently enjoying fry-ups!

I went to Buss Farm a few years ago and the elderly owner at that time very kindly allowed me to shoot a few video clips around the yard. It was rather surreal after being such a fan of the series. I have of course got the full DVD set and play the whole lot once of twice a year. Sado I know! A helper at my Guest House in Whitstable is also a Buss member but she won't make contact with the family who still run a small business in the village!

That's great! I know my reply is 11 years too late lol but can you please upload your clips? I'd love to see them as a fan of the show. I only found this gem recently!

Ooh, the memories, a Perfik Sunday 'bit of telly'... Wonderful .. The Larkins were wonderful, and always friendly.. Fabulous, heartfelt, emotive, witty and funny ... Pop, Ma, Mariette, Charlie, Montgomery, Primrose, Zinnia, Petunia and Victoria ... Not forgetting John-Blenhiem and Oscar too .. And The General, Edith Pilchester and all the great characters who brightened up an evening in the Eighties every Sunday... My fav episode was the double one with Peter 'the stranger at the gate'.. And the ones with the Rev Candy in them, with Primrose making him blush.. *Sighs*

Sally Ann Loveday I have it on DVD, I believe it was broadcast in about 1992 though and not the 80’s. filmed in Pluckley in Kent ( despite it being made by Yorkshire Television).
