Minelli make a million paint brush handles a year, and use some of their automated technology across in the gun stock division which is state of the art cnc and robot sanding; there is not a hint of a wood smell or any sawdust anywhere in the plant. But its millions of euros of investment. Something to aspire to!
@LukasParsley

@@TonyBelas Thank You for Your response! Yes their machines itself are state of engeenring art. (CMS and Bacci if Im not wrong). It blown off all the competition away. From my perspective of small tiny woodworm and single person driven workshop with simple cnc machine where everything from CAD work to sanding is done bymyself- it is only something to dream of. Fortunatley for guys like me- all their stocks have similar design- its like fingerprint of the designer. Specific types of curves. And since most of the companies started to use thier products- it opened only possible window to compete- to make "something else" for aftermarket. There was a time where it was possible to recognize Webley, Weihrauch or AirArms or even BSA- from first glance. Beocuse there was diffrent approach/design - the "idea of diffrent people" behind it. German stuff was blocky and robust like their tanks and Volkswagen, English stuff was elegant and classy like Jaguar, Today its much harder in my opinion. Actually most of airrifles are Italian Ferraris and oryginal "Idea" was replaced by fast production. I belive this is the last bastion for small producers and craftsmen like me. PS. Really enjoy to watch those vids with You and Lloyd in break times at workshop. You guys do excellent work with sharing knowledge. Best regards, Lukas.

Another great video guys (and Andrea), I love bullpups and do like the idea of one with an adjustable cheek-piece. For rifles with a wooden stock and black plastic cheek piece I'd rather see the original wooden piece used, and offered with a removable black neoprene cover - to give the best of both worlds. Speaking of which I'd personally always lower the mounts as much as possible, to get the Objective / LOS as close to the bore as possible -which it looks like you could do here as the cheek-piece can go lower. Er Tony, you said the Safari is 65ftlbs in .22", then describe the ART Barrels as designed to work with the .25" JSB pellets: can you clarify is the safari .22 or .25 with 65ftlbs? I ask because 900FPS is often referred to as optimum maximum velocity for .22" pellets (slugs would be different), and 65ftlbs with 15.89gr JSBs = 1,310FPS - which would be supersonic(!?) Great silhouette video by Adam Tersa (dzien dobry!) Looks like fun, though I'd have to shoot it seated, as being on crutches I wobble all over the shop when standing. :o) Cheers. Dzień dobry Russ! Thank You for Your comment mate. If You find it challenging or impossible to shoot standers, You can always try the speed silhouette American style. You shoot 4 sets of 4 figurines at same distances as classic sub12 airgun silhouette, but You position them on the ground and shoot as fast as You can. The person who shoots down all the pieces and does it in the shortest period of time, wins. Shooting classic from a bench might prove too easy and put You off the sport imo. Have fun and stay safe Russ, all the best🤘

in 2006 daystate was just adopting slingshot and lean charge on the MK3 , so was quite happy to loose the MK3 reg which was slow and expensive to make. Huub & Marc were still at school so unable to help at the time but fortunately time marches on and the new Huma-air regulators are cheaper and more reliable - but only on mechanical systems. a 12 foot pounds rifle in FT shoots 40mm discs out to 50m (164 feet) and a 50 foot pounds rifle it the EBR match out to 100 yards (300 feet). But this got me thinking; what kind of stick? OMG - another sleep inducing episode - you promise to discuss so many things and ask for suggestions but the show has become a shop front for Daystate and Brocock (wonder why?) - who wants to spend £1200 for a tarted up puff gun? You then finish with a clip about silhouette shooting - how many of the hundreds of thousands of Airgun users will ever bother with that?
