One thing that is not mentioned in this video that I feel is important these kicks rely on the set up with your eyes. You will kick low or to the body and watch your kicks and then you will Fake looking down whilst kicking high. Works sometimes!

Rose kick was def a type of ? Kick. Idk what they call it now, but it’s a lead leg ? Kick imo. GSP used a kind of ? Side kick against Bisping as well. To me anytime you fake one direction and go the other, or when you turn the hip over to change the trajectory it’s a ? Kick.

It's not so much hip control in my opinion, as you learn that with a normal roundhouse. What's the tricky part is learning how to rechamber to a roundhouse from a frontkick chamber

@@alexsiniov Especially since now strikers are actually targeting specific nerves that are close to the surface of the skin. Like what Israel did to Costa & Anthony Smith to Jimmy Crute. It can literally shut off a leg if done correctly. But it also depends on what your base is, because in muai thai I see them do a "switch" style on almost all their kicks were in Taekwondo and Savate we come mostly out of fighting stance while leaning away a lot. Usually not as powerful, but usually quicker. For sheer kick power, Thai is right up there.

Almost all of these were lead leg head kicks, which I guess are kinda the same thing since you have to do the same motion the turn the hips over for a lead leg round kick

It's seems to be a very effective kick even though martial artist don't refer to it as a "question mark kick". We mastered this kick over 40 years ago but added one more move to seal the deal. At 2:50 the kick was very effective but the form wasn't perfect. He has incredible leg strength. At 3:30 the form was better because the fighter completely turned his hips and shoulders along with pivoting his feet. This allows for greater power and complete control and accuracy. if done correctly, glove protection won't help the opponent..

Question mark kick has a different swing plane. It’s a round kick feint to the body that immediately changes to the head in one motion.

Some of these are actually not question mark kicks, they are more roundhouse kicks, when you kick straight from floor to head it's a roundhouse, a question mark kick goes from floor to waist level then half crecents over the top to the side of the head, going from floor to head not a question mark kick.
