Aaron even made a video on his KZitem channel years ago, where he threw a FNAF themed birthday for a kid named Blake: kzitem.info/news/bejne/xZWYx2aFpqNnfH4si=fuyWlgQ-SWo9hK6Y

The thing is, they totally could have preserved 2 or 3 bands and made them hot tourist attentions because of their exclusivity. Aaron Fechter makes money giving private showings of his band, doing tours of his workshop, and even programing the bots to say personalized phrases. CEC could probably make a whole Chuck-E museum to appeal to parents who want to teach their kids about engineering, young fnaf fans, and people who're just nostalgic. Nostalgia always sells. My guess is that they're just too far in the hole and too scared it would fail, or they just genuinely can't figure out how to restore and maintain the animatronics (to their standards) since Creative Engineering left and they're too cheap or skeptical to hire someone.

Thank you so much for talking about this!! As someone with a niche obsession with animatronics sparked by FNaF years ago, eventually developing into full passion separate from FNaF all together, it makes incredibly distressed how little Chuck E. Cheese cares about their history. Even Disney is way better about this stuff. You didn't even go over the countless pizza time theatre cosmetics and full animatronics that have actually been entirely destroyed. Some survived but some are just gone forever. I still don't understand why Chuck E. Cheese cares so much in the first place, since it's not like they'll be competing against animatronic shows anymore if their plan is to remove all animatronics. If it's the IP they care so much about, why don't they just strip and incinerate the cosmetics and then auction off the animatronics themselves? They'd be indistinguishable from the countless still existing RAE animatronics in circulation, which they don't even own the rights to. Then they'd even make a few extra bucks from the auctions, rather than burning money by destroying them. It makes me mad and I think more people should be aware of it. Maybe if enough people cared and made noise about it, it would impact their (non-existent) profits or something, idk.

Hello GSully ! To correct a bit of misinformation, Robert Brock was not a founder of CEC. He signed up to be the largest franchisee of CEC's Pizza Time Theatre stores. This was a year or two after PTT incorporation. Robert had also been the largest franchisee of Holiday Inns previous to signing up for the PTT franchise. But when Bob attended the annual IAAPA trade show, he saw Aaron's animatronics, and chose to break away from CEC franchising. Thus began the lawsuit and counter-lawsuit. I know this information because I was the 7th PTT, Inc Corporate office employee after Nolan bought the assets from Warner Communications in 1978. -dale

I couldn't have been prepared for that outro and he's my favorite one - finally some happy tears about all this. 😭Maybe one day we'll be able to see a "short" of him boppin' around doin' his thing.

yo dismantle those animatronics and turn them into more friendlier looking animatronics and make it so they have face recognition skills so they can detect criminals

I only really remember Rock Afire. By the time our local Showbiz turned into a CEC, I only cared about pizza and games and didn't really sit and watch the shows.

Looking forward to your inevitable follow-up video about how Northridge and another location have gotten/are getting a 2.0 that keeps the animatronics and some classic decorations!!!

It's so crazy how they're getting rid of all of this history. Especially with the popularity of FNAF you'd think business would go up a bit.

I don't think I've caught on to why they want all of the animatronics to be destroyed. They could of made thousands if they sold them.

from this video we can gather the following information - you're a rare gem, I hope you can save as much animatronics as possible - scott cawthon nonstop watches similar videos and writes everything down - CEC is stupid

Companies always consider their own intellectual property over historical preservation. I mean look at Nintendo and them hoarding games they'll never remake or release again. Abandonware abounds and in a way is similar to the animatronic purge.

Destroying the animatronics was just dumb. They should have sold them off for thousands of dollars. If you're not going to be using the animatronics anyway, what's the point in preventing anyone else using them? It's not going to be competition.
