Works both ways with other bikes. There's several you Yanks get that we don't because of our ridiculous emissions policies.

Would have loved a >1hr podcast with this guy where he could go more into depth about the philosophy behind the bike, the development (struggles/choises), his own background and future plans/projects.

I think there's a better looking/sounding exhaust option for extra money.

Thats why I love Yamaha, I think they’ve got more spirit and character than the other Japanese manufacturers………..for me it reminds me of my 1989 TZR250, my 1994 FZR600R and the grand prix bikes of the late 80’s ……..so obviously very emotional 😆

Well done Yamaha for making something that appeals to those of us who love 80s bikes. The xsr motor is a peach. Frankly I’m super impressed that this got made, I have seen so many amazing concept bikes over the years that are so watered down by production time that all of the magic has gone. This bike looks just as good as the faster son’s special we saw a year or so ago. Brilliant. James should be very proud.

It will be great if Honda build a retro looking NSR 😌

Nsr? Isn't that the two stroke? Or the 8 valve per cylinder oval?
@MakerAventuras

@@rns6889NSR were the 2 strokes, the one that had oval cylinders and pistons with two connecting rods was the NR 750. I would not mind a retro bike from honda with a NR750's look. That bike was beautiful.

@@MakerAventuras Oh yeah right 😅, but personally I'm the biggest fan of the rounded dual headlights the rc45 and 1992 fireblade had, it's so classy. Some of the sports bikes in the day looked more classy than the aggressive intimidating looks the ones we have today. I'm more of a fan of classy.
