Hi Susan and Michael. I just happened across this video and thought you might be interested in the picture of the couple with Charlotte’s dolls. They are my parents and that was a picture from their wedding. My dad’s mother and Charlotte were 1st cousins and grew up together in Indianapolis. My dad was stationed outside of Los Angeles during part of the war and visited Charlotte often. When my mother came to marry him, Charlotte hosted their small wedding in March of 1944. The picture is outside of her house with some of her dolls. I gave the picture to Hake’s when my dad auctioned his 22 dolls. After the war the five of us started to arrive and Charlotte started sending the dolls as gifts. I also have an inscribed copy of Little Women, a crystal bowl and a crocheted table cloth that she sent me. I noticed that a lot of the dolls in your video were my dad’s and we are very happy that they have found such a good home. I have to admit that I am curious as to how Bob Clampett is Charlotte’s nephew. I have done the genealogy on Charlotte’s (Carolyn Geis) side and there is no mention of him or either of his parents. I’m guessing it must be on Frank Clark’s side. I have not been able to find out anything about him. He seems to have disappeared before or around 1920. We have been assuming WW1 or Spanish Flu but we really don’t know. Thanks, Sue

In the photograph in the center of the display with Walt, is that Charlotte Clark with him?

Yes, we believe that that is Charlotte Clark with Walt and Mickey in the photo.
