I once had an incredibly creepy Uber driver, who started out very friendly and got into a nice conversation, before he started talking about how he needs to find a pretty young girlfriend like me. He asked if I was a sex worker and where he could find girls and if he could have my number among other creepy things. It was too late to just get out, he already knew that I was on my way home because I told him during conversation. I got out and ran inside and reported him, but he kept driving by my house for over a week. Never tell people where you live and never tell your Uber driver that your destination is your house.

Yeah.. i love my mom, but if she had seen that the 25 or something year old woman who was molesting me.. was no mentor figure... i probably would of finished school and not be permently mentally traumatized for the rest of my life :/ but she's kinda a victim in a sense as well. As most moms (most on drugs which was not the case for my mom, my mom was just poor, in need of help, and the woman whom molested me is truly a pyschopath, who knew what she was doing.) Don't know what is going on. I don't doubt that the mom who gave her daughter to that loser, WASN'T on hardcore drugs, at the time. That does not excuse anything she did, but it does, give a reason for her to not be fully lucid enough to have proper judgement of the situation. Which is why her sentance was also lighter, At least that's just my guess. But as for the moms need to stop giving kids to randoms. I 1000% agree, with added sympathy for mothers whom are taken advantage of as well.

Basically it's all caught on CCTV from the apartment complex where the victim lived, and it was all recorded: from the boyfriend forcing the girlfriend to enter the elevator, to her apartment, to her body being dropped from her balcony, to her killer going back outside and bringing her body back, to her body sliding on the elevator, to him going back to the elevator to clean all the blood then leaving after he said she had committed suicide. The murder was outrageous because neighbors heard the woman screaming before she entered her apartment alive for the last time, and nobody did a thing.

That first one brought back a memory. In high school I worked at JC Penny in the local mall, and I was eating at a McDonald’s during my break. This woman left her two kids in the entrance of the McDonald’s to go into the Victoria’s Secret across the way, and a couple minutes later this old, creepy guy came up to them and started talking to them, to an uncomfortable degree. I didn’t want to make a scene at that stage, but I made sure that guy knew I was watching him, we even made eye contact a couple times. Finally the mom came back and the guy made some remark about not leaving her kids unattended 😒 I still don’t know what that guy’s intentions were but he gave me a bad feeling, and I tend to trust those feelings.

The two moms who let their young girls go with these creepy men, it's just really hard to believe they weren't paid to give their daughters up. In my own neighborhood, most young moms are approached by people while out and about and asked to sell their kids. It's really common in populated, low-income areas. There are also moms who sell their own children themselves, it's really devastating. In Relisha's case it seems like her mom did this. The way she covered up her being gone and refused to take a lie-detector test....just so gross. Children deserve so much better than this sick world they are born into.

My guess is Tatum manipulated the mother into loyalty, likely by improving her and her daughter’s standard of living, and possibly only told her that he was keeping the girl, not that she was dead. His wife probably threatened to report him, resulting in her death.

The unknown female in the car's screams will haunt me forever. That video is the prime example of a situation where I wish I could've been there to do something for the victim. Those screams pierce me, and make me feel helpless to help her. Hopefully, somehow, she's somewhere safe and sound. Edit: The Jessica Chambers case...it doesn't get more brutal than her death. Not only do I feel for her, especially in the midst of the fire, but I feel equally for the firefighter that saw her walking up to him.

Another I can think of is a video from 2011 in China involving a toddler getting run over by two vehicles. Wikipedia has an article on it called "Death of Wang Yue," which also brings up the outrage the video caused worldwide.

Your presentation of these horrific and fascinating crimes/disappearances was outstanding. You obviously did your research, and although they're just plain sad to hear about, you made them very interesting and hair-raising. The child abductions are unforgivable. 19:16 Since I am polish, I've heard a lot about this story, it's been covered by the media a lot in my country. It's not that she suddenly became erratic, there's a facetime call she made before the flight, her partner recorded it (you can see it here kzitem.info/news/bejne/pnqQr52Jf2WGiaA ) where she begs him to come and help her and laments that she won't be able to escape that country, that some people have "tricks" to keep her in there, that she's done for etc. The case is unsolved since there's not enough evidence for polish police to move with it any further. Some say she was being trafficked by her boyfriend and he recorded it to save his ass (they were meant to fly together to Egypt but he stayed cuz his passport was expired), some say she just became maniacal and erratic due to being all alone abroad, others claim she saw something she wasn't supposed to see since she said something about hearing strange conversations from her hotel room. I doubt we will ever find out what really happened, since nobody really talks about it anymore.

thank you for mentioning kelsey smith - i have never seen her case covered in any other similar video. i am a local from the area and remember when all of this happened. my old neighborhood is actually about 1 - 2 minutes away from where her killer resided and everyone who lived there at the time can still identify that house to this day. ironically enough, i now live about 5 minutes away from the target where she was abducted and every time i shop there i get chills thinking about the horrible things that happened to her. she deserved so much better than what she was given. i think about her often and believe that her case is relatively obscure, so it was both jarring and refreshing to see it covered here. thank you for the consideration that you show these victims and their families :)

I'm from where Emma disappeared, and what strikes me is that the YWCA and the Empress are both downtown, with the airport being a 45 minute to 1 hour drive away. So depending on where the taxi took her she would have had to traverse the highway back into the downtown, and have to pass through plenty of residential areas as well. It's all just really odd, it's sad but the city has a growing homeless population that often have a blind eye turned to them and if someone looks the part, even if they are obviously in need of help, they're usually ignored or treated poorly.
