Gosh how j like this guy and his musical own planet ! ( Did j write magical ? ) THIS is quit new to me and the firt few inches of discovery throw me upside down ! As a musician, j find the writing fantastic for who wants to learn how to build a beautiful song.The amazingly full of hope and joy rythme the orchestra holds behind the melodies ... The lyrics invite you to dive, you and your imagination, into a gold mine of books ! Living life with a bit of sensibility, j can't seem to escape what this wizard has to say !

@@pythongalactique4001 I can see although is has a lot of great songs. It's definitely the most different, melancholic intimate album by TDC, a lot of that because of Radiohead producer, I think? Like totally the opposite of the rest of his carreer.

Great to see this, I'd forgotten it was televised on the BBC. I did like this version of the band, the current 6 piece is great but having Rob and Lucy helps fill the sound

Interesting that he calls 'Promenade' the third album here. For the longest time 'Fanfare...' was written out of the official history.

Can’t they afford a acoustic guitar ?
@JohannesWiberg
5 жыл бұрын
All around great but seriously, couldn't the guitarist have brought a proper acoustic guitar for the appropriate parts instead of using that crap acoustic modeler thing he's apparently using? It doesn't sound like an acoustic guitar, it sounds like a mess and it really messes up the overall sound.

That constant feedback at the beginning of the show is unbearable. And that violin needs tuning. Great gig though.

The feedback at the beginning is a bit annoying but, hey, it's live; stuff can go wrong. There's nothing wrong with the violin, though, as far as I can hear.

Hate modern era TV presenting - interrupting the whole POINT of the show to talk a load of bollocks. Does my head in, then they cut off in mid song. Glad I stopped paying my TV licence.
