Mustang Restorations is simply the best of the best and as Chris said they get cars from all over the world. He's taken care of 7 of my "toys" from years gone by and his staff has seen everything that could need restoration on many different cars. They are a Bitchin Business that does work on Bitchin Rides like no other!!!

I've known Doc and his crew for 20+ years now. They've restored my 68 KR top to bottom throughout that time and they also pulled and reinstalled the motor on my 66 BB 427 Corvette. They also keep my '08 KR in tip top shape. The best part is if you find yourself in a jam while you're working on your Mustang--call the Doc and he'll walk you through it, he even on occasion does house calls! Mike, George and the boys are AWESOME!

Doc and his crew upgraded my wife's 64 1/2 289 convertible with power steering, power brakes, and front discs. They also corrected some suspension issues they uncovered and made the car safer to drive. They do great work for reasonable prices and on time! Plus, they're only 20 minutes from my house!

Is it feasible to replace just the inner rocker on a 68 mustang convertible or is it best to replace inner and outer?
@MustangRestorationsInc
3 жыл бұрын
99% of the time we don't replace the outer rocker panels. The outer rocker is galvanize steel & does not rust like the inner rocker's can do. We normally just make repairs to the outer rocker's if needed.

Hey Doc can I ask a question.. my 66 has a damaged core support.. it's wavy and I'm wanting to replace it.. but it's above my skill level.. b4 I take it to a body shop can u give me a ballpark figure of what I will b looking at ?? Thanks
@MustangRestorationsInc

Hi Mark. It would require the removal of the nose of the car & radiator of course to get down to the support itself. Cut the old support out & weld in the new one....Reassemble everything.... A job like that normally runs about $1000. in labor.

@@brianarrington4569 Numbers as in Vin numbers?.....Wow I hope not.... It is a Federal crime to take Vin#s from one vehicle & put them on another. I hope he isn't referring to that & if he is that could be the reason he isn't sharing the source. Stay away from that kind of stuff.
