Jim Morrison had a voice that was literally spellbinding. I honestly feel like I’m slipping into a trance when I hear him sing. Just a true once in a lifetime talent. It’s such a shame that we only had the good fortune of having a person like him for a very brief 27 years, of which only 6-7 years were spent making music.RIP Jim Morrison.😢
@axejokertv5336

I assume your saying 6-7 because of the 2 or so more years the Doors honed their skills............but it is always amazing what the Doors accomplished in only 4 years of being famous,6 studio albums is alot in that short of a time.I wonder if because that was more how income was generated back then than touring did? Even the Doors really never played to huge audiances like is done today,where most of the money is from touring?

That voice. I feel so grateful that I saw him perform live just a few yards away from me. Sad -- it was his last performance. He was so much more than a performer. There’s a great interview of his father. He was so cute. A staunch military man. 2 complete opposites, of course. Obviously loved his son very much. Worth the watch.
