I had the delight of staying at George's wonderful B&B in Limousin a few years back. His chef partner was away at the time but George cooked us a superb meal and we kept the wine flowing until the early hours! A fabulous time!

In his day, by far the most real and flawless of all female impersonators. He obviously got rid of all his props when he retired some years ago and, for sake of a brief comeback, opted for a less realistic wig and more modern glasses, which sadly spoil the illusion a good deal for me. However - brilliant as ever in the performance.

Not sure why George Logan was wearing these glasses, as when he appeared in the play he was wearing Dr. Evadne's usual half moon glasses and gold chain, (the red glasses that Dr Evadne wore in the last year's of the Hinge & Bracket shows).

Agree with the comments here. Rather lacklustre and grotesque in comparison to the efforts he made in his heyday. Not even a proper dress or any attempts to be feminine. Dr Avadne Hinge was really the straight 'woman' of the outfit so without the piano or Dame Hilda Bracket this interview is quite bland and lifeless

I’m reading one of his memoirs at the moment. Fantastic stuff. RIP George/Evadne, hope you rest in peace and thanks for the music and the laughter.

It was the minute details that made his impersonation so great. The way he adjusted his dress at the piano and his walk- never over exaggerated.

I'm disappointed by the remark about modern music being so frightful. I would have thought a Doctor of music would be interested in contemporary music as well as that from the past.

I think at her great age the "Dear Lady" has done well to master the use of Bookface and Twatter but who knows she may yet discover the delieghts of "Heavy Iron", "Hop Pip" and "Trap" music, we live in hope!
