No need to watch, they just said there are these three problems 1. Listening to people pooing 2. Trying to share sink and mirror when getting ready. 3. Coming down from the loft at night if you forget something.

So basically if I live by myself, that takes care of at least half the inconvenience! For me I think the problem would be that I love to do A LOT of crafts, and often have several projects going on at once, and even in my small but standard sized house, it can sometimes be difficult. I'd have to have a "craft house" separate from my sleeping tiny house.

I would love to see a “get ready with us”! I would love to see you overcome the obstacles of the tight space! Also, where do you wash your clothes?
@livelightwithwildlandorgan7122

haha - that would be funny! regarding clothes washing - we have access to a separate entrance laundry room in the main house on the property (our house is kind of like a guest house). Pretty convenient!

Yes, privacy is hard to give up! I think we might be ready for a bigger home after 2 years in the Tiny House and 6 months living in a van together! haha - stay tuned! If you're on Instagram, find out what we've been up to @wildlandorganics - we have stories highlights all about vanlife!

I would need soundproofing and that bathroom fan running and a large enough bathroom that two can get ready. A few luxuries are good ideas. The composting toilet has been covered by another couple. Not so great either. The electronic bed lowering with backup of hand cranking lift is far better than a loft. None of those nighttime up and down the stair issues.

Why does this couple look like every van life couple?

1. Put up a heavier, thicker door. 3. If she's the one who always forgets something, why isn't she sleeping on the side of the bed next to the stairs? You guys are so first-world. You have an Alexa and you think you're living light?

We are very much real people. We live full time in a van now, if you'd like to catch up with us and what we're up to now you can find us @wildlandorganics. This was one of our early videos and we were a little flustered and uncomfortable in front of the camera and also filming it at the same time. We think we look awkward too!

Mostly Sane 🤣 honestly, some of the early days, I thought the same thing you did. At first, I was really worried we had made a huge mistake! But after 2 years, we loved it so much, and it made such a positive impact on our life that we decided to go even TINIER and build out a Sprinter van to live in on the road! We haven’t moved in yet, so again I’m starting to worry we made a mistake thinking we could live that tiny... but, only time will tell. We’ll see how it goes!

Live Light - With An Intentional Life! riTe'On, all smiles, Live Light! my husband, Stephen and I are in the process right now trying to pick out our new home. I think we're going to go with a log house tiny living. I would love to have something mobile though because my very first home was a travel trailer (my very first home on Wheels) & it was the best. I traveled (we traveled, when married, Devin&I) up and down the West Coast, Washington State, Idaho, Montana, ...Lincoln City, Oregon...we lived right on a cliff and you could see the little sea otters, Seals, eating & feeding at night, just before the sun went down and the Whales way out in the ocean all you could see was the blowhole, The Spray Of Water & Air out was amazing, to be able to live in Lincoln City , Oregon. right after we were married my 15 year old cousin came to live with us and he & Devin would go surfing just about every day before work or after work or take a long lunch break. It Was A Magical Time. I would literally stay above and go on those little clips that had a bunch of signs that said do not walk any further stop here Danger and me not being smart I would go out and literally hang from a branch to get pictures of my cousin Erik and Devin surfing. I got some pretty cool pictures. now when I think back and in some pictures I can see where I was standing and hanging from a branch my heart just stinks because that little tiny Cliff I was on could have just gone right down into the water. but I guess I didn't think about those things when I was in the moment. Our friend, Greg Palmer, lived iin/on Hermosa Beach, California (at the same time as we were traveling) & We were able to visit him a lot. (friends since 14 years old. (Greg Palmer 1970-2010, Nov.1st.) those were just incredibly happy years of my life some of the happiest years of my life) California, Idaho and all the way Back (home-town) across to the East Coast, South-West Fla. Sarasota, where we lived at a Marina. then purchased our home. But I just loved my tiny travel trailer it was the best & those are awesome days, years and good memories. P.S. sorry I write/mic.talk, long comments. thank you so much for replying to my comment and I'll keep in touch and I'll keep it short and let you know how our new tiny home is coming along, will be coming along, LOt's Of New Adventures and future memories await for Us aLL. What about the heat in the loft
@livelightwithwildlandorgan7122
6 жыл бұрын
surprisingly, it wasn't a problem! probably because there were 2 large windows up there, both which opened and allowed for a cross-breeze. The only downside was they had no screens! So we had to hook up a mosquito net up there for the summer months - but it totally worked! :-)

Noe Berengena that’s what’s weird about KZitem. You don’t actually get to feel people’s energy. We smile, a lot. It’s true. We’re happy people, and even when things suck - we find ways to laugh about it sucking. Thanks for watching!

@@livelightwithwildlandorgan7122 For people cynical, perhaps don't have enough joy in their own life or like to find the bad in things, I sure too much smiling does throw them off. Keep living life positively the way you want. Hope those less fortunate are able to find similar joy someday.

What about the heat in the loft
@livelightwithwildlandorgan7122

Hey Jammin The Frequency! Apologies for the delayed reply - we've been so tied up with this new van build! The heat in the loft actually wasn't much of a problem because we had 2 windows up there across from each other that opened - so there was a cross breeze whenever we needed it. In the summers, we put up a romantic mosquito net around the bed so we could have the windows wide open and not worry about bugs. I thought I would be annoyed by the net, but it reminded me of tropical nights in Tulum or Hawaii - so I actually ended up loving it! :-) Thanks for watching!
