If you’re going to cover a story, know the narrative. Nick brought up Kellen Moore being the offensive play coordinator because Nick had his hands in the offense last year and his tampering and overruling was considered largely a reason for why the offense never truly found its rhythm. Him bringing up Moore as the OC here is basically him saying, I don’t overrule anyone. “In case you’re trying to bring that up again” was said for a reason. People talking about Nick pointing fingers but AJ Brown was extremely transparent and candid when he admitted to going off book with Hurts during the Seahawks game - where Hurts gets picked and we lose - and Nick straight up taking the blame for that, and saying he was trying to play for OPI. Media clowned Nick, meanwhile he’s taking the heat to keep his players clean. Truth is national media and the football fan base at large hate this guy, and no matter what he does they’re going to see it as the wrong thing.

I can't tell you how many times I saw that play on 3rd or 4th and short from Herbert to Ekeler or someone else. And about 7/10 it ended up short.
