Why not just let the grinder dump the pulp right into the press?

Thanks. Here at Costco a gallon of cider is $7 for the real stuff. I made 7 gallons or so which is about $50 worth of cider. Normally with two people we could make dozens of gallons in an hour or two with this setup.

Don't see myself doing this but still impressed to see you do it. All our apples go towards my wife's killer pie and cobbler😋

Just noticed. That looks like a 3/4 to 1/2 inch reducer used in plumbing. That is why you are not getting a good seal. You'll have to find an female hose to 3/4 adapter.

Yup, I am trying to find the right piece and then I'll add the link to the description. It'll be tricky. I have to remove the current piece first. I think I'll have to heat it up and pry it off.

Try to make sure when you source a disposal you make sure it’s got all stainless steel interior. Many are not ✅✅✅

That's slick. I was thinking a single stainless sink might work to hold the sinkerator, but it might be more hassle than it's worth.

Thanks for the great demo video. How many presses do you get from the pillow case before having to change it out? I would think it would clog very quickly with such a tight mesh. Have you tried pressing fruit pulp ground up with typical grinders in this?

It hasn't clogged on me yet. It works extremely well.

I have a screw type press, a black mosquito net (worn over the head), found at Walmart Sporting goods dept, does an awesome job to catch the fines. Where did you source that nice aluminum funnel?

Struggling with the measurements. Is two gallons about eight liters? That’s was my google result, and it does not look like eight liters. Anyway the flow of the juice was definitely impressive!

Let me know how it goes! We love ours. Put a dash of cinammon in some of the bottles too, even better.
