I read the book about his life and architecture a few years ago and so glad you posted this video. He does deserve more recognition. I love the simplicity of his designs.

Wow, it's pretty wild to me that some of these houses are 50 years old yet, excluding the interior, they could probably feature on scandinavian architecture magazines today.

Another great video about the things I had no idea about, I see a lot of gifford style homes along the beach where I am from and always wondered about where they came from and their origins, and now I know.

My friend rented a Gifford house in the pines every year, I stayed many times. Quintessential beach house and party place for sure. Lots of stories… mmmm
