Just after midnight on October 26, 1962, two EG&G camera crews flying at 35,000 feet in modified KC-135 aircraft were in position to film the re-entry vehicle and detonation of the enhanced X-ray nuclear weapons test of the Bluegill Triple Prime during Operation Fishbowl. With both aircraft's specialized, high-speed cameras filming the blast for scientific analysis, they got way more than they bargained for. This a theoretical conversation between the two aircraft crews as they watched a UFO follow the RV down and then get blasted out of the sky by the intense X-rays generated by the blast.
