I LOVE to introduce each animal with a short story while playing their music. I usually tell the story after I present the music for the first time. This is the story I tell to my students:
A: Once upon a time, in a green jungle, there was a playful elephant named Ellie. One sunny morning, Ellie woke up feeling very hungry. She decided to shake a banana tree for some delicious bananas. The banana tree was next to a small mountain near a beautiful river. With her long, strong trunk acting like a big arm, she slowly reached up to the tree, gently shaking it to make the bananas fall down.
B: After eating the yummy bananas, Ellie started to feel very thirsty. She carefully put the banana tree leaf on the ground and slowly walked towards the river, slowly moving her big trunk from side to side. Upon reaching the river, she drank some cool, refreshing water and then splashed around for a little bath.
A: Feeling refreshed and happy, Ellie thought it would be the perfect time for a little nap. But where? Ah, "under the mountain" seemed like the perfect spot. So, Ellie and her friends gathered around, lifted the banana leaf high over their heads like a blanket, and then all went under the cozy little mountain to rest under.
And under that soft, parachute mountain, Ellie drifted off to sleep, dreaming of more adventures to come. The end.
