I can't wait to get mine done. I didn't start losing any hair until I was 50 years old. Never thought it would thin to the point I would consider even doing this. and I don't think my hair is as thin as yours was before the procedure! If I can get 1/2 of the growth you have, I will be happy. 59 now, Going to Smile Hair Clinic this September. Looking forward to it. Your hair looks great! Been following for quite a while now. If mine goes well, my 30-year-old son wants his done. Thanks for all the videos. Take care!

Wonderful video, as usual, Amit. It is unfortunate that the clinic didn't warn you up front that a second visit may be likely, although I realize that they can't say definitively until you got to Turkey. At least you could have been more prepared for the news. My clinic told me at the first video consult that they would not do the crown area on the first visit and explained why, so I was prepared. Your results are excellent, and thank you for educating us about preparing yourself mentally for this journey. I went to Turkey alone and similarly was alone for the few nights after the transplant. Yes it was lonely, but I was still so glad that I took the time to watch your videos and prepare myself for the long-term outlook. Looking forward to your Crown Update video. Thank you again.

I can agree with everything stated in the video; - the first two days sucks, you are tired, nauseous and hurt so you kind of regret what you just put yourself into. It will pass when you feel better after 1-2-3 days. - The 'At least I tried' argument is also important to consider. Sure it cost of a few thousands bucks but beside that, you have nothing else to lose! - IT's a life investment and you only have one life to live so why not try to make it nicer?

Your hair looks great, Amit! Thank you for describing the emotional journey involved with this process. I was reluctant and skeptical myself about getting my hair transplant done in Istanbul, but watching your videos documenting your entire journey and some other KZitem videos helped me take the leap of faith and go through it… I am almost at the two month mark post transplant; I am encouraged by the steady progress that I am seeing day by day. I am being patient and looking forward to crossing beyond the three month milestone when more significant progress is expected. I feel optimistic about the end results and I would recommend it to everyone, who might be interested in this process. Take care!

Hey Amit! First time commenter here. Thank you so much for your videos, I am clinging to every word because I am scheduled in Turkey Sept 27th and I'm terrified. OMG what have I done? Ha ha Anyway, quick question because I have found differing information: How soon can you start wearing a cap....loosely and carefully? Did you say previously that it's ok after 14 days? My situation is that I've worn a hair system most of my life (lost hair in my 20's...I'm now 61) so many people have NEVER seen me without a full head of hair and it is so traumatic to all of a sudden be bald. I want to at least wear a hat in public until I get some decent growth.
@amitposthair
Жыл бұрын
hey man welcome! thanks for commenting :D I actually have a video showing you exactly what you need to know about wearing hats after your hair transplant so definately check that out! kzitem.info/news/bejne/lZequo2kjWRjdW0 But you can start wearing a hat as soon as about a week later, but a very loosley fit one (like a bucket hat). It should not be tight on your head at all. I would recommened waiting 2-3 weeks at least before wearing a hat, only because you want your transplanted and donor area to not be interacting with anything else and let it heal first. I still wear hats out even now but thats because my crown area is still growing slowly, but its totally understandable. As for the hair system, its fine just let ppl be SHOCKED, because if there's one thing i've learned, is that nobody cares how you look, except for youself. so if you can get past that hurdle, you'll be fine if you arent wearing your hair system infront of people! Hope that helps!

One thing I’m afraid of is the pain of the anesthesia shots. My pain tolerance is really low and I’m the type of klench my teeth and hold on to something if it’s too much lol. Would you say it’s like that? And would you feel uncomfortable after the surgery? I’m looking to maybe explore the city a day after the surgery
@amitposthair
11 ай бұрын
the anesthsia shots are paintful not gonna lie. But it only lasts for about a minute then your head gets numb. So if you can tolerate the pain then, it'll be fine after. They do this twice too, once at the back for the extraction then again at the front for the implantation. I personally wouldnt explore the city a day after the surgery, only because you're going to want to be resting. It will be a little uncomfortable and you dont want anything touching your head right after.
