Your not the only one Lanae, this one here can bring grown men to tears, never want this concert to end but what a brilliant song to close this incredible story with...one of my favorites from this Epic Album (I listen to this one All the Time), just as good the first time as it is the 100th time. No worries Lanae, you have barely nicked the surface of the Ladies vast catalog of great music, don't despair. 🥰🥰

Dany's solo on *The End* is a perfect complement to the lyrics. This is one of her nods to David Gilmour. They grew up watching Pink Floyd concerts on video, and Gilmour is one of her influences. Like all of her solos, it is concise, precise, fits the context, and yet it leaves you wanting it to go on twice as long. Pau put her soul into that performance, singing her lungs out while pounding her kit. Ale holds down the bottom end with a soulful and soothing drone that carries us out of the story. This video is one of my favorite recorded performances of all time. It's hard to understand how the *Queen of the Murder Scene* album never got international acclaim for its artistry. Children came up with a very adult story and executed it amazingly well - on their terms. They deserve to be better known. OH YEAH, I'll add that seeing the song get to you got to me.

One of the cool things about this album is that it's circular. Dust to Dust is actually after this song, and is the Queen, already dead, telling her own story. Just like they keep repeating "start again" in this one.

The Queen lies dying in The End and these are her last thoughts. She regrets nothing because she still feels that she did it all for love (Sinister Smiles ends with the evil side repeatedly screaming “I have done no wrong”). Interestingly, Paulina sings both the first and this last song, making a cycle where Dust To Dust includes the line “In *the end* everything just turns back into *dust to dust* ”. The final lines of The End are “start again” and Dust To Dust says “and we shall start again”.

Queen of the murder scene : a concept album, written by kids, played by musicians with 50 years of practice, and lyrics older than a couple lifetimes together. I'm pretty sure, in definitely less then 20 years, they will be in the same league as Queen, Metallica or Led Zeppelin, maybe even higher.

You mention Queen... which reminds me that certain shots of Dany and her performance in the live HYCAD vid had me feeling similar to watching the recording of Freddy perform I think probably Bohemian Rhapsody. You were speaking in the last vid about how Dany looked "spent"; here you can really see how exhausted Ale is. Poor kid had to be practically *carried* back stage after this one - they were not prepared for the altitude difference here, even if they already lived in the high desert. They also weren't as focused on maintaining their own fitness levels at this time. But they soldiered on to the very end, no matter how tired they were - which is hallmark _The Warning_ . They will never give anything less than 110%. (Kitty streaking across the screen at 5:56... always makes me smile, especially when I compare your clawed-up chair to the one I'm sitting in now... which looks pretty much the same.)

You’re pretty much right, as you’ll see. They leave a lot of room for interpretation in all their songs. I love the little details like ending with “start again” and then the first song actually starts at the end, a big circle. They talk about it in the vlog. Before I even really got that this was a concept album I’d have this on at work this one would come on and I’d get all choked open not even understanding the story. Dany’s guitar solos are the most plaintive thing I’ve ever heard, and yet so simple. Amazing. You’ll never run out of material, they are very prolific. 4 albums and barely into their 20s? I’d say that’s a hell of a start. Keep following them, they have a catalog of riches.

The girls were exhausted this last song. Ale and her abused hands, Dany and her look at the end. Pau powering thru. It was amazing. Love the whole album, and this song was very sad indeed.

In this song, we've come to the final act. The Crimson Queen takes her own life by cutting her veins in a bathtub, as she hinted in "Sinister Smiles" ("cut through skin and stain the water"). When slowly falling into death, she makes amends for all wrongs she did, even if she realises that "it's a little too late". But it's not over, since she is doomed to "start again" and relive her story of crime over and over again, until she repents, which she actually doesn't: In Sinister Smiles she repeatedly cries "I have done no wrong", triggering her own fate. Her ghost will then respawn at her own funeral as described in "Dust to Dust".

Well worth thinking is that if they would have signed a contract with Disney or the other companies who wanted to change their style, XXI´st Century blood and this album would never have been made. But The Warning consist of three lionesses (David Bendeth) who fight for what they believe in. And they believe in their creative output, "not just business" (Quote is Dany during their Ted talk in 2017) kzitem.info/news/bejne/0aBr25lphl-naaQ .
