Yes this helped me with my studies. Like, for me it is to beat those who are already in the field and underestimate the first generation learners. I like when I achieve success and beat people who have better guidance and resources than me. Basically, I hate nepostism! A teacher ridiculed me for choosing science stream for higher studies, as I had no one in my family to help me with it. Now, I'm about to enter into medical field. I always remember his smirk!

Had this moment today in Uni. Saw my ex, hated on her in secret with my new classmates that I know for ½ week (so not really a deep bond) and a girl that didn't even know me, they started hating on her too, for no fucking reason, and we instantly all bonded by being evil together.

It's interesting the entire video I thought for sure one name would come up who believe demonstrates this concept more than any of the names included: Kanye West. He is the definition of a personal brand, George Bush, hurricane Katrina, Taylor Swift, 50 cent, Obama, Nike, Adidas, gap, Drake, the karadashians and so many other names have all been at one time or another enemies of Ye and his cultural significance is still growing along with the list of enemies. The difference I think between taylor swift and Kanye is that ye's brand truly is Kanye where taylor swifts brand like you said is about connecting with the insecurities of her audience. But the reality is taylor is THE cool girl now, and Kanye is still Kanye.

So far you've had two genius intuitions regarding social influence, but I was wondering if you had any insights on how to build real self-worth and self-esteem, and by that I mean self-assuredness, the kind of “inner resilience” that's not tied to external validation, which I identify as a “state of being”. I ask this because self-assuredness is perceived by others by aura/energy alone. If I act social and confident, people are still gonna instinctively detect the low self-worth underneath. For example, there's this girl I know who has admitted to being reclusive in her teens but after working on herself she's social, outspoken and has made many friends. There is one issue though: despite her social and assertive demeanor, I can sorta feel on an instinctual level that she has zero self-worth, so she still has worked on the external but still hasn't done the inner working. I've been wondering for quite some time on how to achieve that self-assuredness that in turn changes also your aura that people still perceive, but I'm kinda stuck. I know that self-assuredness comes from an inner acceptance of who you are paired with an inner knowing of your worth regardless of external standards, but see, I “know it” rationally, but not in my heart, therefore it does nothing to achieve that change of aura that everyone can detect. How you do start to truly feel self-assured on a deeper level? How do you make it click?

I like your videos. On this topic I may comment that throughout my experience I see how people beat down those standing against some unfairness in life in a bad way. Unless it's safe or there is some concrete chance of winning, there is no backup coming. Probably if this unfairness would be low key, so that it's not too scary & at the same time tolerated by the majority, then it could work. Just my thoughts on the matter.
