This is a trip I made with two friends in Sept. 2013. The goal was to ride for two days in Vermont using primarily dirt roads. We had each ridden the famous Puppy Dog Route many times and were looking for something different.
We started in Western Massachusetts and traveled up to Londonderry, VT via paved roads. From there we scouted a path through the Green Mountains, bisecting all the Gap Roads until we got to Warren. From there we headed to Barre, where we could find a decent hotel.
The next day we stayed to the east of I-89 and tracked our way through miles and miles of farmland. This terrain is less mountainous and we only had one road we had to turn around on.
I encourage people to just get out there, take an atlas or gps and find your own route. We discovered something that blew us away and perfectly captured why we ride adventure bikes.
