MIRMI researchers developed a solution for mitigating the high forces and moments between the residual limb and the prosthesis: they developed a tactile exoskeleton which carries the prosthesis for the user, providing a seamless interaction interface, transferring passive prosthesis socket technology to an actively controlled robotic solution.
