Yes. He also has a good grasp on the solar system which is nice. It's annoying when so many people think that Ceres and other places are just made up for the show!

I watched a "reactor" yesterday and got to the end of the show they were watching and I think they'd said maybe 10 words... Chris certainly does a great job in vocalising his thoughts and not just being passive in this journey, which makes him a great Reactor.

Same here...this is the ONLY show I've ever rewatch the entire series probably 40 times by now all thanks to reactors and a few times just on my own. I watch them all because I love the show so much and it's easily my all time favorite ANYTHING I've ever watched on a screen! This show is the only one that has ever hit it out of the park in every category there is to making a tv show! It's crazy that every tear jerking scene and every jaw dropping scene STILL gets me even after this many rewatches! I love watching reactors go through the journey as they transition from just another show to "OMFG THIS SHOW is on another level!" It has taken every single reactor without fail!

@@EvilAnomaly Exactly the same. It's crazy, isn't it? I never, or very very rarely, rewatch any show, and if I do, it's like a decade or more later or so. I also don't really watch reactions, and never did before being caught by my first Expanse reaction. But that all changed with The Expanse. I just never get tired of rewatching this show, be it by myself, or by watching reactors. I lost count a long time ago, but it's clearly over 20 for regular rewatches, plus all the reactions.

God, I love it when smart people watch this show. So many don't have the patience or intelligence for things that don't spoon feed them. Those are the shows I like the best. They give the audience a little credit. This show just gets better and better as it goes along. I think you'll enjoy the ride!

You've just watched the episode most fans will readily tell you was the most tedious and least interesting one in the entire six seasons of this show. I agree with that opinion, and I also think it is a mighty fine episode.

Oh no! I hope your apartment's all dried out and fixed up, I've woken up to a similar nightmare in the past, with water pouring down through the fixtures and out the wall sockets from an apartment above, and it was exhausting (and expensive) to resolve. This episode is just a big ol ball of tension, rolling along, letting things build and flex. This is among the weakest, slowest episodes of the show as a whole, but it's still a good time.

Nice reaction and analysis! I think I'm going to really enjoy watching your journey! Try to remember this show is wildly smarter than it should be! You may catch somethings on rewatch for editing..... but you cannot realize just how much until you get way later in the seasons and little things that are planted early in the series pays off majorly later on!! Looking forward to the next one!

The ship that is coming to rescue them is "the Donnager, Flagship of the Martian Navy," as Alex pointed out. They weren't able to identify the ship that attacked them. So not exactly the same ship.

Correct. This show follows the aftermath of the Dharma Initiative. Dr. Pierre Chang, once a prominent figure in the Dharma Initiative, survives the cataclysmic events of the island and eventually finds his way to the Belt. Reinventing himself as Jules-Pierre Mao, he establishes a powerful corporate empire. The scientific rigor and experimental ambition that once drove his work on the island now fuel his quest for technological advancements in space. This is why he is known as Pierre in both shows. Edit: hopefully it was clear that I was joking.

I like to think of Mars is a kind of like Israel. A young nation full of pride yet paranoid about their security. They have a very fierce and technologically advanced military and they are all united in a single goal. It's not unlike Zionism. The Belters are kind of like the Palestinians for obvious reasons but their relationship with the other two powers is different. They are not subjects of Martian occupation but their political position and sense of victimhood is similar
@MattNolanCustom

Mars is also kind of like the US, having broken away from Earth (the British Empire). Very patriotic and militaristic after a couple of hundred years. The Belters are like every subjugated and repressed people anywhere ever.

It didn’t take us lots of time to figure out that a wrench should be connected to the outside of the suit by a short strap, terrible unnecessary shot of the wrench getting lost.
@pssthpok
2 ай бұрын
Also, with the Knight not actively thrusting, they are on the drift, so the wrench should not have taken off like that, it should have floated or at best, drifted away if the Knight was in a slow spin. IIRC, the showrunners realized this mistake, and some kind of wrench shows up in future seasons as a reminder to keep the physics under control :)
@jsbrads1

@@pssthpok LoL, that would be even worse. Also I can imagine someone rushing and trying to torque something before they have it set properly, they pull really hard until the friction slips and their hand moves really quickly twisting in their hand and slipping the chunky gloves, the wrench slips of the nut completely before his hand stops moving and it flys off spinning, whatever the speed, without gravity and air resistance, it quickly moves too far to retrieve.
@pssthpok
2 ай бұрын
@@jsbrads1 I was not talking about the practicality if tethering your tools, but about the visual effect of the wrench flying off in such a hurry.
