That presumes that it was moving at a reduced-enough speed to crush the previous people but barely continue going, which says it was already stopping but just didn’t manage to fast enough, which in turn is grounds to doubt it will stop ‘fast enough’ to not crush these people either (as it has already failed to in immediate history). As opposed to “oh damn this train is out of control” speeds, which would not at all be reduced or impeded by a handful of bodies (except maybe the tracks that they expired on being a little blood/gore-slippy), which in turn would be too fast for any sort of trolley problem to be written down, let alone pondered upon.

I can only speak for myself but if I were to be killed by a trolley, but it could be later diverted thus saving others from the same fate, I would hope that someone does divert it after my death. Thus it would be "fair" insofar as it's defined as a "balance of good and bad on a personal level", since, while I'd experience the "bad" in form of death, by diverting the trolley would equalize that "bad" with the "good" in form of my wishes being respected.
