"I'm not trying, I'm succeeding." OMG, I'm not the only person thinks that way.

"I am trying..." "Very trying." OMG, EXACTLY like I think.

I've just watched over 12 hours of Reggie covering 1976 - 1982 with L. Rossiter (r.i.p) Ten years later The Legacy Of Reginald Perrin in 1994 when Rossiter died on stage at only 57 in 1984: This had the remaining cast members - not as good. Then in 2009 - 2010 played "Reggie" a modern approach to the classic written by Simon Nye who also wrote Men Behaving Badly & David Nobbs who wrote the classic "Reggie" story. I've binge watched & researched so enjoy ...time for bed, good night.

Unlike Tommy Cooper who died the same year, Rossiter did not die on stage - he collapsed in his dressing room and subsequently died in hospital.

Have you read the original books? There's some stuff in there that was too racy for the BBC at time. The TV series is superb, but the books are frankly even better!

Poor Reggie would be hit with a lawsuit if he tried that with Joan today.
