I believe the most confusing aspect of these backlink systems is how to organize things when capturing a daily note. Where should the text be stored? I think it's best to keep it in the daily note as suggested, but I wish the backlink would essentially make it a part of the linked note, rather than just a reference. You run into this issue of where to work on the text later on. I guess if you leave it on the daily note you need to go back to that note to edit it.

There’s an app called Concepts (or conception) which does this & there’s a student focused app / website called Remnote that does this too. Concepts (conception?) is website interface only though (at present) and I don’t know how good the export function is yet, but it ‘fills’ in the linked note instead of just references. Remnote is really good, but it has a focus on students, so they have alot of flashcard related functionality built in which I find distracting. but worth a look.

Yes agreed! We did a video that covers this as well: kzitem.info/news/bejne/q6Kdm5OVnYSGjZw

Why the note's association to the specific date is important to you?

We all associate memories with time to some extent or another. For example, a forgotten memory may often be recovered by recalling what you were doing around that time (which can be enough of a hook to remember the rest). This is why daily journaling is so powerful.

is it possible to print a range of entries as one document ie all entries for January ( obvious use if journaling with reflect)

You can do a bulk export and likely use a tool to print, however there isn't an internal print function within Reflect

Would you happen to know if an android app has made it to the roadmap?

Apologies it's not currently. Quite a big undertaking
