Exactly, I find it ridiculous how people are so deluded in their little world of “acceptance” and how they believe that being a large size is healthy, even the “doctor” in this interview knows for a FACT that obese people and fat people don’t live as long as people that are of normal size. Everything she has said in this video is completely and utterly wrong and I believe that she knows this herself and is doing it for attention.

“Weight loss is not good for our health” where are the references? Perhaps not for individuals who are within a healthy weight range. The opposite is clear in terms of those who are overweight/obese and the correlation between type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease etc.

she is right with that statement to an extent. I’m a health care professional in the NHS regarding obesity. In a respected medical journal, a test was conducted and I believe it studied people who were put on a wait loss diet and they were weighed yearly and it showed that at the end of 5 years a large percentage had gained more wait than when they had started. However this does not mean that dieting is a bad thing, but it must be better controlled by the individual and more long term support plans should be implemented by weight loss services
@TeenyTheOne
11 ай бұрын
@@LusciousLogo That is simply because they slip back into old habits, it's the life style that needs to change. A diet is seen as a temporary thing when it should be forever and more support is definitely needed for overweight people who are trying to change .

She’s a GP. Basically she has become a biased doctor based on her own weight problems. This means she is not advocating for healthier lifestyles for her patients and not doing her job of educating her patients of the benefits of healthy lifestyles included weight loss. @@Randomuser005well yeah kinda, the range for being healthy as in you're not gonna pop your clogs and have a heart attack has expanded, largely coz of modern day medicine tho not because it's actually healthy but if you wanna be fit, actually in shape then the range hasn't expanded. You can be healthy to the point of not dying but still it be able to run 100 metres without running out of breath so it kinda depends what you mean by healthy. Is healthy you can live to 70 with the help of allot of medical support or is it you can still run at 70? And a muscular person having a BMI isn't the same as a fat person. You can tell.
