Nothing better than a craftsman built uke in the hands of a skilled musician. Exquisite arrangement and playing.

So Beautifully played. Takes me back to Grandmother who used to sing this to me in Gaelic, her first language. Thank you. Somehow I am going to learn this. Thank you for sharing.

Beautifully played Samantha. What a fabulous instrument, such a wide range of tones, bright, mellow, every good reason to buy another perfectly crafted instrument. Well done for leading the crusade.

Hello Samantha, again an outstanding performance of this classical Piece. It is a pleasure to see and hear how you are playing. Great five string from Dave Morgan too. Thanks a lot for this!! Kind regards from Germany.

I like this version better than the one with your newer curled headstock one. The larger uke lends a sweeter sound.

I love your playing, your videos and your tutorials so much! I've only just started playing (at age 64). I learn so much from your tutorials and greatly appreciate the bits of theory that you always impart as you explain things. Thank you so much! I was just wondering how this big uke is tuned?
@SamMuirUkulele

Thanks Sharon! I tune the tenor down a step, or semitone, as this tonality seems to suit this ukulele.

Fantastic, it is one of my favourite pieces. Hoping someday I might be able to play it, but not with the skill you have, just for myself, slowly. Please, please play it at BUG.

_Greetings from Ireland...A beautiful rendition of this well known Irish ballad...In the little area that i come from in County Clare up to 10,000 poor people were buried in an open grave during the Famine...Between 1845 - 50...1 million had died of hunger and related diseases and the other million had left the country on the "coffin ships" for America. Alas many died on the way.._
