Following a story last year, the ABC received hundreds of emails from people whose affairs are managed by Public Trustees and Guardians, claiming they had suffered psychologically and financially from the system.
Because of strict gag laws, none of those people could be named. The ABC took legal action to challenge that prohibition and now we are able to reveal bring you two of those stories.
It's a victory for those individuals and for transparency.
