Sure. Those guys appeal to the more casual audience who talk about things like "who wants it more". Especially if you're only talking about ESPN analysts who cover more sports than just football and don't have the time or interest to delve deeply into film if at all.

I hope the growing popularity of Brett's channel results in more strategy-driven analysis at larger media outlets. Let the pendulum swing away from the Stephen As and Skip Baylesses of the world who just pseudo-psychologize 95% of the time. You bring Xs and Os to the table with them and they can't go toe-to-toe at all. Now, of course, this takes a lot of hard work but fans of sports respond well when so-called experts don't dumb it down entirely.

We cant put him in the FS position just yet, we have reshad jones obviously, so putting him at nickle would be the smarter move until Reshad retires, or they could put him at back up FS for a bit until Reshads contract expires which is soon, but we need help on our defense now so i doubt we'll put him in at back up FS

It's crazy how well this aged. Minkah has been all-pro level pretty much since his first game playing his ideal role in Pittsburgh. You even pointed out that Miami didn't need a FS.

Watching this again after my Steelers picked him up, hearing your high praise and recommendation that he play FS...and seeing that that's exactly where they intend to "anchor him down"....I am excited. Regardless of whether this season is a wash without Ben, it's so wonderful to see that we might have a ball hawk defensive quarterback for the next ten years.

It’s crazy because you say how he should be best used as a ball hawking middle free safety. Steelers trade for him and that’s exactly what he became. Using instinct and his iq to make plays and be in the right place at the right time. Good call

Hell of a video. Only thing I'll say is while I think you're spot on in Fitzpatrick's fit as a FS in a cover 3, I think what makes him a truly special prospect is what positions you can put him at in Nickel, and cover 2 man. So yea most of the time he'll be the FS in cover 3, but on 1st and 2nd down he'll be a weapon used basically all over the field.

Dolphins need a FS. Bobby McCain is our slot corner and TJ McDonald isn't a FS. He's gonna be our starting FS this year

Craig Newman TJ can move down to play a safety/linebacker hybrid role. He has the physicality and size to do that but not the range for FS. Great pick that helps Miami improve in two areas defensively.

2:11 Amen. Found out the hard way when I flipped a Cover 3 so the SS is playing deep, and he was absolutely trash in space because he was a hard-hitting SS, who has nothing else but height (6'3", but was drafted as a man corner).

tj theboss741 they don't NEED one but imo I think Barkley is a generational talent that you can't pass up on. Whereas the other backs in their camp are ok. Nobody you'd build your offense around. Plus I'm not very high on this QB class so I'd elect to build the team rather than select a QB early.

AYO B Darnold at 1, Rosen at 2, Mayfield at 3, Barkley at 4, Nelson at 5 or Darnold at 1, Nelson at 2, Rosen at 3, Barkley at 4, Chubb at 5 thats how i see it playing out I could be entirely wrong but i think the Giants are high on Rosen, and the Jets likewise on Mayfield, I also think Darnold is the clear cut number 1, which leaves the best two prospects in the draft, Barkley and Nelson

You might just be right. I always saw Minkah as a poor man’s Tyrann Mathieu, and that’s only becz he wasn’t at Free Safety often enough... I’d probably see him in a completely different light. I think Bama needed him to fill in the gaps in the defense and allow the team to field its most talented group of players .
