I wasn't a dispatcher. I was a deputy coroner when my father retired. They asked if I would do his EOW. I couldn't. Because I couldn't stop crying. My father joined the force 19 days before I was born. It was 32 years. He started during a serial killer in my city. He has since been captured and put to death, but I have LASTING memories of his cases. Probably why I was a deputy coroner. He has the best stories!!!! We both do, but his are better.

A very good video and pardon the stupid question (and yes I know I should know this but sadly I don't 😜) but, how long in years is two decades exactly? 🤔
@DKnight5170

20 years. A decade equals 10 years, a century equals 100 years, and a millennium equals 1,000 years. Now you know!😁

So should we give a teary "look at me" send off to every plumber, construction worker, welder, firefighter, machinist, soldier, nurse, there are plenty of people out there that deserve recognition... How come those people don't get an emotional send off on their local news channel?
