I appreciate the lengths you go to “make it real” but having a bump in the road on the selling process is impressive 🤣🤣🤣! The house sale is coming up in June and then the real boat search starts. It is all numb at this point. We have been at this house for 15 years. We will be leaving Colorado which has been our home for like 30 years and a job of over 20 years. You just don't know how you will handle it until it all goes down. TBC... GLWTS. Hello from Alberta Canada. Been fortunate to enjoy all that Clarity brings every week since you started, but this posting in particular shows who you really are. Your total non judgemental supportive understanding of the prospective buyers decision not to complete the purchase is amazing. Especially after a haul out, inspection and living under the shadow of petroleum tank farm. Then to end the segment with your special style of humor, going for a walk too funny. Sincerely hope the right purchaser comes forward just as soon as possible. Cant wait to see what comes next see you next week.

I've been watching your channel since you got the boat. I think I've watched every video since. I love the knowledge you have with weather as I'm also very interested in that as well. I've been building my home that I've planed on selling since the beginning with my own hands and no hired labor. When done with it, I plan on getting a nice Schionning because I love the way it looks. That curved front cross beam looks so cool as well as the inside layout. It's a performance catamaran and that's what I'm looking for. I guess it could be another brand but the used market on a Schionning is I think my price point. My goal is to sail around the world in tropical waters. I dream of giving up the land life and going on an adventure like your doing. I really want to learn how to kite surf. Hopefully you get a nice performance catamaran that other KZitem channels don't have. You've got to pick out something supper cool.

The sale of my 32’ Farrier tri fell through last week, I had nothing lined up to replace her just she wasn’t going to be used for 8 months after which I’d have a fair injection of $’s to add to something larger and owned outright, ironically the night before I was trying to think of an excuse to back out of the sale, keep and update her as there’s nothing I can realistically replace her with, at least nothing short of double the price... add that my circumstances only allow me to stay in local waters: funny, selling a boat you’ve spent so much time in is like selling part of your soul, I got that with maybe two motorcycles out of over 400 (I build them as well as race etc) and only a few cars.

Latest O'Kelly update? Hot off the presses! Having won the lottery, we quickly completed a rather largish Catamaran for increased speed, comfort, and stability. Due to the fact that nothing ever goes wrong on boats, we are sailing it just the two of us. We can't moor near New York City because it puts too much of the city in the shade, and that is without even the self-furling sails hoisted! Sadly, we put up the sail near a city once and the resultant shade cast them into the equivalent of a nuclear winter, with temperatures well below freezing. People were freezing to crisps on their balconies and sidewalks! There is a slight problem sailing in our leeward side, as the "wingtip vortices" from our sails cause category 2 tornados/waterspouts. Not to mention the dangerous tsunamis caused when we come about or jibe anywhere near a land mass. We accidentally drowned a blue whale as it submerged in fear when we came by, but alas, by the end of the day, which is how long it took us to pass over at our 50kt cruising speed, the poor creature had run out of air! To baffle the world's submarine fleet, we play an endless loop of insanely loud whale song, flatulence, digestive, breathing, bubble corraling and eating sounds to trick them into thinking they have encountered Moby Dick's bigger brother. More than once we have seen nuclear subs surface against all protocols to behold this marvel of pleistocene sea life. Once, unfortunately, we heard a small bang on the hull and found we had accidentally rammed the USS Gerald R. Ford and sunk it because it cut sharply in front of us unexpectedly from windward and got plowed under by our razor-sharp prow. However, as a token of good will we dumped our tender, Diamonds are Forever, over the side to give each and ever sailor a safe, comfortable, and speedy passage home! We can get it back the next lap around the globe, which we estimate will take us few weeks. We look forward to showing you around the RMS Tyrannic 2 whenever we can charter a 747 to land on one of the decks. It will not need arrestor gear for that nor a catapult for the takeoff. Due to the hulls often being in different time zones, I love to pay Megan Tuesday for a hamburger today, when, in fact, it's the exact same moment on the boat. We have corroborated with some ships in providing them shade while at anchor straddling Bermuda or other such little islands. It makes the cruising experience more fun when you can take shelter under the middle of a large catamaran. Currently, a second Panama Canal is planned, so we have asked that they space the canals so that boat can traverse the canal for those times we are in more of a rush. The mast makes it easy to ascend, having an elevator that has openings and balconies at several levels to ease maintenance and weather surveillance, though we ARE often looking down on the weather, but that does yield the bonus of being able to spot cyclonic or anticyclonic cloud formations from over 200 miles away. Anticipating a conductive mast could cause lightning problems, we had ours commissioned using boron fiber, which yielded the bonus of having a pale white unadorned mast, which saves several thousand barrels of paint each year. We also have polo fields and cricket pitches on some of our smaller tenders as an experiment in greening the boats. Exercise is a cinch, as we can walk, run, bike, or drive Liebherr mining trucks around on the decks, whichever the mood suits. Our central living spaces have some transplanted Sequoias, some of which start on one of the lower hull decks, so their cute little tops can just peek over the edge of some of the center decks joining the two hulls. With our 1.5 gigawatts of solar power, we have made somewhat of a side hustle of powering large cities during the daytime. We considered a wind turbine to take advantage of the abundant wind resources over 1000 feet, but it would have led to confusing readings to radar simultaneously on both sides of the Atlantic. The highlight of the sporting events is the America's Cup yacht race we hold in our main recreation pool every four years. Anyway, just an update! Hope to see you out there before we find we have accidentally run over you or run aground as we did in that mid-Pacific no-land-above-water surfing spot and, well, no part of it is shallow enough any longer to even consider surfing.

If you have ever stood at the helm of your boat and rotated 360 degrees while looking at the horizon and saw nothing but the horizon then and only then you will understand the meaning of Clarity.

Cold feet? Too bad all they did was waste your time. They should have been mentally, physically, emotionally, prepared to commit before ever arriving in port for the survey.

Yeh thought we vetted them well on the phone. I don’t think they were trying to deceive us…they probably thought they were ready. But reality has a way of slapping ya in the face….and the ocean is full of reality….

I sailed a Laser 14 ft in some regatta and won some races. Sailed Hobie Cat and sailboard too. It was so much fun. Spent 3 months as a crew member on a tall ship in the Caraibes once. Could I sail on a big cat? Yes but not as the owner. After 40 years in the merchant marine, sailing for me is having a captain, some officers, an engine room staff, a galley and deck crews. I could not do the work of them all. 🤣

Yes, it is scary, isn't it? We are all dreamers but, without dreams, we will accomplish nothing.

Absolutely. A very scary thing. Lots of great quotes out there, but the hero continues in spite of fear, not in he absence of fear. We completely understand cold feet.

I guess this means you are free to take the higher offer (if they are still interested)?
