Today is first day of route 211's new terminus. The route now serves Chelsea Bridge, Battersea Park Station and Battersea Power Station. The route no longer serves Victoria Coach Station, Victoria Station, Westminster, and Waterloo Station.
Route 211 has also passed to Transport UK London Bus. The route has returned to Battersea (QB) garage, And is using existing New Routemasters. Route 211 was run by RATP Dev Transit until today. The route ran from Stamford Brook (V) garage. The peak vehicle requirement of route 211 has also decreased to 14 from 16.
This change was originally meant to happen on the 29th of April 2023, As part of the Central London Bus Changes. However, the change was postponed. Route 77 has replaced route 211 at Waterloo. Route 77 now terminates at Waterloo, Upper Taxi Road.
The New Routemasters which were used on route 211 under RATP, Will transfer to Hounslow (AV) garage. They will be used on route H98, Replacing Enviro 400s.
Route 211 now runs from Hammersmith, Upper Bus Station, To Battersea Power Station. Via Hammersmith Broadway, Charing Cross Hospital, Fulham Cross, Fulham Town Hall, Fulham Broadway Station, Chelsea Football Club, Fulham Road, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, Royal Marsden Hospital, Royal Brompton Hospital, Chelsea Old Town Hall, Sloane Square Station, Chelsea Bridge, And Battersea Park Station.
Route 211 runs around every 8 to 15 minutes. Route 211 commenced operation on the 17th of July 1993. Route 465 has also passed to TUK from RATP today. The route is using existing Enviro 200 MMCs.
