Remember that Wildlands wasn't so popular at launch. Think I got it 3 years after launch and me and 3 other friends played the crap out of it. The thing I love the most is that even tho your heli get shootdown it doesn't explode in a ball of fire, it get's into a critical mode that let it actually crash to the ground from some hights before it explode so you and your friends actually have a chance to escape it when it crashed to the ground. But I'll never stop loving my AUG, I put the 3 round burst on it, and set it for max range loud, and Oof. It feels like a laser cannon the way it beams down enemies from a distance. Where you have to hold position [usually on that 8 ball building's rooftop] and then take the truck and drive it into the quarry before it explodes. I knew that whole Wildlands map like the back of my hand, which came in handy for doing the challenges. But they kept using the same building models over and over so maybe I'm wrong. Definity Deja vu for that mission when I saw the fountain and that building across the street though. I'd turn off all my HUD's for the story missions and then go into multi-player, forgetting to turn them back, on and end up shooting my own team. Fun stuff. Thanks for the memories.

Honestly you just strolling through this town talking about whatever is actually really breathtaking. It reminds of scenes where the squad is just hanging out shootin the shit before going on a mission. Makes me wanna redownload this game

One of the funnest coop experiences I ever had. As a Navy Vet I would drink some beers and play with random vets and other people in general. Definitely was a good time.

I played it when it came out, I really liked the coop stealth aspect and the visual aspects most, like the feel as well It has room for changes and improvement, and the vehicles are mostly just ugh (although the helis got un-crapped in a later update) but it still was pretty nice

I'm 67 years old and have been playing Wildlands for several years and love it. (It's actually the only game I'm playing right now several times a week). I only play Open World Games and as far as I'm concerned, this game is the best one of them all, and I've pretty much played them all. My second favorite Open World Game is Skyrim, third GTA5. I have already preordered "Starfield", just waiting for its release in 12 days. I also can't wait for GTA6 and Elder Scrolls 6 to be released. I just hope they come out before I die. All that being said, I will continue to play Wildlands forever. I love this game so much. It's a dream of mine that Ubisoft would remaster Wildlands for the new consoles and add a Zombie DLC to it. Wildlands is the perfect game to add Zombies to.

Ever since I played the beta where you got to mess around in a few different regions I completely fell in love with this game and I instantly pre ordered it. Haven’t really played a game since then that brought me as much joy and satisfaction as playing this game even beating it completely solo

It is a good on-boarding point for mil-sim gaming. I like the pace of it more though, the stealth aspect makes it top tier. It's like chess with guns, sometimes.

This is the first GR game I’ve played since like 2003-2004 on PS2. I bought Wildlands a few years back on sale, just the base game, for like 10 bucks on steam. I finally decided to start playing earlier this week. And omg, I’ve been so addicted. I dont have a job rn and no one is hiring where I live because it’s slow season (I’m in a very rural area with like nothing around), my last 2 jobs let a bunch of people go because they aren’t making enough money to keep us on. I’ve been really down lately because no one can afford to hire people, been trying to do odd jobs. But this game has been taking my mind off the stress all this week. I already sank 100 hours in. On tier 38 right now. Still have half the bosses to beat. I got so sucked into finding all the weapons and upgrades, which I’m still doing. I’ve been spending time in Unidad basses getting my patrol level up then hunkering down and seeing how long I can last before I get killed on the hardest difficulty lmao. Flying helicopters is one of my other favorite things to do. I made immersive outfits for all terrains lmao Tbh, a few are inspired by the enemies in in MGS 1&2, the snow one and the Gurlikavich soldiers. One is inspired by HUNK from RE. This game is great fun. It can be as hard and immersive or as easy and chill as you want it. The driving mechanics could be a lot better, but again, I mainly fly everywhere. And tbh, the only reason I’m doing tiers is for credits for the crates. Not spending money on loot boxes 7 years old lol. I’ll do ghost mode next for the same reason. There’s a lot to do in this game, even just for fun. It really scratches an itch my Autism has been looking for lmao It feels like Division, GTA, Splinter Cell, and a little bit of Syphon Filter all smashed into one.

There should have been an ongoing effort to produce more of these games from Ubisoft. They had the world in their hands with this format, especially as the first iteration. Kind of a shame that there weren't any successors worthy to keep it going.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE how Breakpoint turned out (from an arguably rocky start), but I never felt as immersed in Auroa as I did in Bolivia in Wildlands. The Wildlands world just seemed more 'alive' to me. This video made me reinstall it (waiting on as I comment); hope I'm not disappointed going back ha

Future Soldier is still my favorite, played a ton of it with a friend back in the day. Wildlands does come close though and with its open world aspect is arguably better. I just wish there would be a new tactical sim style Ghost Recon with room clearing tactics and all that sweet stuff.

Am playing this game right now. Found it a few weeks ago for a price I liked. The atmosphere in this game is great. It is really fun. I wouldn't be surprised if someone actually from Bolivia would see this and say it is spot on. Thats what someone said about Montana in Far Cry 5.

I remember playing the beta with my friends, and the thing that sold me on the game was the customization. You could make some badass looking operators, and the stuff they added later on was pretty cool. Too bad it was all in the store/loot boxes.

I still think this game has the most beautiful world I have seen in a shooter. The structures and towns aren't anything special, but the landscape and how you get a sense of massive scale when you are travelling is incredible. I remember standing on a cliffand looking at these giant mountains somewhere in the distance as a road curved down to the plain. The sense of being a tiny person in a massive world was incredible. And so many places look so distinct from each other too.

This is exactly how I go about doing missions in my spare time, rather than on the channel. I mean, I play them the same way, but heavily clip them, otherwise I'm rendering like 2 hours of the Division or Witcher of me looting and jaunting everywhere. I could speed up recordings by fast traveling, but eh.. half the fun for me is the journey and the random encounters along the way. I love playing open world games, because everyone's experience can be different. Once you surpass the tut area, you're then faced with the most intimidating, yet most exhilarating part.. where to go from here. Enjoy the journey, living and breathing the world. Take in all the details and sights, exist in it for however much time you have to play. Also, that many jalapenos is about as lethal as shotgun shells haha.

Gameplay and overall feel, Wildlands. Looks and environment , Breakpoint. Wildlands is fun while Breakpoint is tactical. Marine buddies and I play Breakpoint together and play Wildlands by ourselves. My kids like fun and I like realism. It feels like a most of the team worked on Wildlands and only the smartest ones worked on Breakpoint. At the end of the day video games were created to be enjoyed.

The amount of detail and capabilities still blows most games out of the water. The multi function within the same button is genius. The suppressor on or off, side arm or primary is perfect. Even down to the drone that can spot or direct a faction . I played countless hours of this game in 2020 and 2021. Might have to venture back into it with all the HUDs turned off

Wild lands is wildly underrated… there is hours upon hours of fun outside of ANY structured mission… and dozens of hours of actual storyline missions and quests. The customization was plentiful… there were countless different ways and tactics you could employ to accomplish any said task… it was literally like you and your squad were dropped in a jungle with extremely limited intel for real. To me this was the best ghost recon since the original 2001 version on pc with the desert siege and island thunder add ons.
