Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think most people are coming to Hanoi looking for a modern city. I think they are going there for that old world charm

I greatly appreciate you coming to my country. This was a very authentic and creative informational video about Ha Noi. The cinematography was superb. You were fair and honest which showed your bright intelligence. As with any country, Viet Nam differs region to region. Coming from Sai Gon, I'm always biased in thinking that Ha Noi is not as great. But the nature scenery in the north is to die for. It would be cool to see how you analyze another region in Vietnam if you ever get the chance. I look forward to seeing more of your fantastic video content in the future. You have gained a new subscriber!

Alot of the thing you said about Hanoi, i found similaities in Hainan Haikou. You should check it out. After all, first/second tier cities in China are very very very different than 3rd/4th cities, which those have more relaxed lifestyle comparatively.

@@RealChina-qy7br Men are idle (or lazy) for example. Both men and women are working hard in Vietnam. When you ate Pho, I saw you ate the “quẩy” directly. It needed to be soften a bit in the broth. I do like both Chinese and Vietnamese food. Especially Cantonese cuisine, Fujian cuisine and Sichuan cuisine. Vietnamese food is diverse as well, you only saw the tip of an iceberg though. I will avoid arguments/quarrels though. I’m afraid that some netizens will suddenly attack me… just like what I often see on Douyin, Bilibili and here on KZitem.

Look into the Jing ethnic minority group in China. There are many similarities to the Vietnamese like the Ao Dai clothing and many of the elders still speak Vietnamese.
@jean-baptistebui565
Ай бұрын
interesting, I did some google search, and the word Jing is the same word Jing in Beijing, Vietnamese call ourselve, kinh people, and Bejing is written "Bắc Kinh" in Vietnamese. So this ethnic minority group "Jing" is probally decendant of Vietnamese Kinh (ethnic maority in vn) before the shift in pronounciation of borrowed Han word in Vietnam. btw, Kinh/jing mean city, this probally refer to the fact that Jing/kinh people originated from a group of Muong ethnic and Hmong, whom moved away from mountain to form city/ town community.

I wonder what will you say if you go down to Vietnam biggest city in the south, because as a Vietnamese from the south when i visit Hà Nội it feel like im in some different country for some reason 😂, it does feel slow and really peaceful in old quarter area, but Hanoi does have many many new development area outside of quarter. But so far most of this clip only film in old quarter which represent the originality of this city but if you step in newer district it's just different no more of that old and peaceful feel.

I'm Vietnamese and I think we are lazy, but not in the way that we don't work hard. There are always people that work their ass off. The point is Vietnamese always look for short term benefits of their own and ignore community benefits as well as long term goal. I went to China twice and really admire what Chinese government has done. I wish Vietnamese can do the same but it will never happens
