History of Ghana is not a black or white. But we African always sees it that way. I was in Accra in summer 1978 on school vacation from Paris with my Ghanaian girlfriend. What this mah is saying is only part of the late general life as head of state in Ghana. BTW, l am a Guinean by birth who's family compound was next to Dr. Nkrumah residence in Conakry coleah corniche neighborhood. Le Ghana à vraiment une histoire récente très tragique.

Thank you very much lawyer for this wonderful political history of Ghana, especially about Gen. Acheampong. I became interested in civics as a subject in elementary school during the Acheampong's era. I was 10 years when Acheampong came into power. My own father was Acheampong's fan. I used to draw portraits of the head of state and show it at our school exhibitions. I'm very much aware of all the programmes of the the NRC. I memorised the commissioners of council. My classmates used to call me 'Graphic'. Why? Bcos Gen. Acheampong's got made me very happy with current affairs. Almost all his programmes involved everyone, even school children.

The man is or was unlucky: He overthrew the NPP (Busia and his people) and the NDC ( PNDC) also did him so bad. The logic is that, these two parties dominate the political scene and so don’t expect anyone to say something good about him unless you do your own education. There’s even an extensive book about him by one professor.
