Dr. Jordan Rogers continues preaching through The Book of Proverbs in this sermon from Proverbs 8:22-36 entitled, “The Foundational and Consequential Nature of Wisdom.”
In Proverbs 8:22-36 Solomon writes of the foundational and consequential nature of the wisdom of God. Initially, he directs the reader to eternity past, where the Wisdom of God is abiding with Him. Then, the reader is shown that the Wisdom of God was essential in the work Creation, dictating the design and purpose of Creation, which in conclusion was seen to be very good. Following these two truths, that the wisdom of God predates and designed Creation, Solomon draws a single conclusion: that it is critically consequential for Creation to live in conformity with the Wisdom of God.
The following is a sermon from Proverbs 8:22-36, and below you will find the video recording and a sermon outline to help you follow along as you watch. I hope this study tool helps you grow in your love for the Lord Jesus and in your obedience to Him.
