The way that this confirms that the youth center wasn't a lie when it's supposed to be ambiguous wether evart was ever going to actually affect anything is just, Jesus, whoever wrote this didn't understood the point

@@PalitoSelvatico yes but also evart is not a reliable, truthful person, and while he is a socialist and cares, people in that area of martinese distrust him for a reason, specifically the washerwoman, who used to be a communist (you get her opinion on the whole project when you ask her to sign the papers)

I think the youth center was not a lie or at the very least it was not meant to be ambiguous *forever*. With all the sequal bait about Evart that we were given, it is very clear that we was gonna play a bigger role in the sequal, where we would presumably see the end result of his "youth center" project.

it's troubling that i don't actually know if this is canon made by Kurvitz and co., or if it's written in by New ZA/UM.

@@sinctova I assumed there could be some unseen texts they decided to plop in, or some writers had some Ultimate Setting Document at hand. But it is likely that this is some new shit that shouldn't be seen as canonicity.

These just feel so weird. They're different perspectives than we ever see in the game proper, tragedizing and glorifying Revacholian history in a way that I feel Disco Elysium used to be more creative than to do. The history was stories made of the perspectives people tell you and your character's recollections, right, wrong, and biased. The world just was as it was, and you had to take everyone's word for why, tragically like in real life.

The tone of the text feels wildly off compared to the base game, like all the subtlety has been drained away. Everything I see here just screams at me that this is the work of whoever is left working at ZA/UM after the company was hijacked, the ZA/UM that doesn't quite 'get it' but which is simply mimicking what came before. It kind of makes my skin crawl.

What is this? This looks horrible? One of the best things of disco is that you can imagine what's happening from the well detailed descriptions, like a book. If they're showing photos its just a guy pointing at the screen and telling you what you already see. Or am I looking into this a bit much?

in the collage mode, you can change the location and filter of the scene. if you are using the right filter you may find a piece of a photo. to collect them you need to zoom in or out to put it into focus. if you are really into where is waldo type of games, you can try it. otherwise i would recommend following a guide or not deal with it at all.
