Upon investigating the ‘sticking action’ issue, it appears to be caused by the chamber on the 13.5” barrels. Fired cartridges are sticking in the chamber and requiring a lot of force to extract. Other users have reported the same issue as me, sometimes the problem is worse, even having to knock the fired hull out with a cleaning rod. Info is still a little sparse as there’s not a great deal of these guns out there at the minute. It may just be a case of honing the chamber on the 13.5” barrels to solve the problem, but I’ll update further once I know more.

Yup, they’re so much fun to shoot! I think the Adler’s had some issues with the actions, these Bobcats seems to be pretty solid though 👍🏻

In the USA, there are at least three brands of this identical action available. I own an 18.5” model from Black Aces Tactical called the Pro L. The action is quite smooth but has an oddly placed safety on the left side of the receiver. Great for a lefty like me….

Pardon my ignorance mate, but I thought the min barrel length on either section 1 or section 2 was 24” , I’m a section 1 & 2 holder myself looking to get into practical shotgun, is it because of it being a lever action that you can have it shorter
@Range23
8 ай бұрын
No worries mate, there’s a lot of people that think the same. But you’re right, it’s the action type that allows it to be shorter. Pumps and semis have to have 24” barrels and be 40” OAL under section 1, but lever, bolt, and break actions can follow the same rules as rifles - 30cm barrel and 60cm OAL. I think the reason most people don’t know about it is because they’ve never been very popular, the use case is a bit niche too, but they’re great fun 👍🏻

@@Range23 cheers mate for the indepth reply, I've only just stumbled across your channel, right up my street, love the tricked out AR's, I shoot (amongst other things) the straight pull 223 Wylde AR customized but like you I like all the whistles and bells you can get for them, looking now at a good 22 AR possibly the Lantac which I no you've reviewed but yet to watch, and the 9mm straight pull schmiesser, i just need a buyer for my left kidney first 😁 cheers mate all the best, Dave 👍🏻

Yeah. A 2+1 with a 24” (or longer) barrel would be considered section 2, so able to be held on a shotgun certificate.

@Lucas I think we could do with a big overhaul of the laws and the licensing system. It’s such an over-complicated mess as it is right now, everything is a hassle and so very confusing, even for the police that are trying to work with it.
