Such a beautiful footage of O'odham life. I remember picking cactus fruit with my Grandma Anita Antone from Gu-Vo Village in the summer time, I lived with her during the summer time, I was a urban O'odham from from LA, My Mom would send us back for our summer vacation. I so recall all of this.

I'm always scared to eat cholim because I feel like I'm going to get stuck by a thorn in my mouth.

Telling the Border Patrol you're Tohono O'Odham in English and then in Tohono O'Odham should be all the Border Patrol needs to realize (for those who don't know you yet) that you are a Native of the Tohono O'Odham. Being marauded by drug runners and terrorists infiltrating across the border under the cover of the migrant masses encouraged to illegally enter, however, would be another matter. This father is excellent for guiding his children so carefully.
