I think 4D is dope enough I own/owned several versions and models. It’s a great recovery day midsole… especially when paired to a Continental outsole. I don’t run in them or other heavier adi-Runners ‘cos I prefer the adizero range solutions. LIGHTSTRIKE Pro with ENERGY RODS is magical. One thing adidas always does well is keep things simple… even when pushing boundaries. They don’t unnecessarily over complicate athletic shoes. The 4D shoes, this one included, are complex in engineering, but the finished product designs are fairly simple in execution. ‘Difficult and great balance achieved. I know this is a sponsored review, but you provided good insight. I think those 4D Continental outsoles are good for 250-300 miles based on the road I get out of adizero outsoles. I typically donate sell my running shoes after 300km, but I went +500km in the adizero Pro before selling them. This outsole seems more robust. ✌🏽💙🏃🏽♂️

I have a pair of 4D Run 1.0 and love them, I don't do much (any) running but they are very comfortable for casual wear.

if you like these....you will like the new ultra 4d as well. upper from the ultraboost 21, and 22 is just what fwd needed. Though $20 more expensive, its well worth it.

I like this, but I wish they would bring the heel back in, sticking out back looks a bit goofy to me.

I tried the 4D FWD 2. I'll admit, it's definitely more comfortable than previous 4D shoes. But I feel it's still a gimmick. Boost is still better. Many of the other foams used by other companies are better. The 4D FWD 2 is too heavy (even heavier than the UltraBoost), too clunky, not as responsive and far more expensive than other running shoes on the market (comparing daily trainers, not race day shoes like Nike's NEXT% line).

Just wondering if Adidas have said how long it takes to print each midsole?
@joboofficial4950

4-13 hours via google. But I’m sure adidas has factories and time schedules that allow printing to meet demand whenever.

Not sure where @JoBo collects his data, but since Adidas is printing them flat on Carbon M2s, we are talking minutes per piece (roughly 20 per print).
