Danny, through this channel I have learned more about good (and poor) speaker creation than I have from any other source. You've proven to be, probably, the top audio (speaker) educator on the net. You should be very proud of the positive influence you've engendered across this wonderful industry. In spite of today's challenges I know you will do everything to "stay the course". Lucky us!!! ... All the best for 2022 from way up here in Canada.

Congratulations on the spiking demand for GR. Scaling is often tough, combine with supply chain constraints, and obviously the difficultly is wildly compounded. Absolutely appreciate you staying honest and inspired - hang in there and this too shall pass. Your earned respect, however, will keep you at the forefront of we audiophiles seeking high integrity products and apparently, trailers of no-rez! Hope everyone remains patient and you get your help. If I was back in my early twenties, I'd be coming to Iowa Park asap - what a great opportunity for young audiophiles to latch on to a "real deal" market disrupter.

Gourley, I have the Cerwin Vega 3 ways which I received as, probably, a 14 year old 43 years ago. I’ve been exploring some of the new budget value leading speakers, and I’m growing a new respect for these old Vegas! The mid range has been far superior to my ears at least compared to the SVS ultimate towers, and The emotiva air motive B1+. The mid range is on par with the highly regarded mid range on the sound artist LS3-5A which I use near field. I’m thinking of reveneering the Vegas, perhaps at the same time I have to think about an upgrade on the electronics as they are now quite old.

I feel very fortunate to have received the X-LS bookshelf encore kit (with Sonicap and Miflex upgrades) at the end of October. I built the speakers anticipating they would be used in a satellite system somewhere. But then I tried them in my main system and was blown away. So much so that I now have a set of Bowers and Wilkins 702 S2 floorstanders parked off to the side. Yes, the X-LS encores sound much better than the $5000 name brand. I listen to them every day. Thanks for this update video and for all you do. I have learned a lot from you. The truth and reality you provide is far more valuable than the fluff coming out of so many audio reviewers out there. I love my vintage Pioneer CS-53's, they're all original for the most part and best of all I got them from a store similar to a GoodWill for a fairly good price about three or four summers ago before the whole Covid mess happened. The original veneer on them is a bit rough so I've been pondering on removing it and replacing it with a different type of wood that looks a bit more exotic. To me they're nice speakers as the cabinets are made of solid ply-wood and not the typical junky particle board. But for the era they were made they are indeed just a budget speaker as there's not really a physical crossover in them. Just a cap soldered to the tweeter. The right side speaker I changed the junky electrolytic cap with a better poly one, but I never did it to the left speaker as I only had one cap left and not much money at the time. So maybe in the future when funds allow I could have a crossover designed for them. But for now I'm just trying to find a better power source than the budget stereo I have them hooked to. :)

I must add, great to see a new web site in the works and ugrade with Int shipping. The inclusion of auto calculation for Int buyers is great together inc all import cost etc which will be a help to Int customers. I dare say there could be a problem in that regard. Ebay with their Global shipping program does the same ( includes import cost in their shipping ) between 18 to 22 % on top gegardless of the cost of the product, whether $250us or $1400 us. Unfortunately in New Zealand there are products ( inc audio ) that are not subject to import duty under $1,000 NZ ( $680 US ) So will this be the same ? I can see this would be difficult to implement without knowing the NZ break downs. Currently I refuse to ship anything from the States that is under the Ebay global program. I would hate to buy one of your low cost kits or drivers etc and automatically get charged import duty when there is none! Sorry not trying to be negative in any way , just bringing this out so you are aware that this could affect NZ customers and possibly other countries. Regards.
