Looks like a very interesting idea, hope there's not too many bad surprises left along the way :D Being able to place the nodes anywhere sounds great. This would allow for very interesting things, like a dual use volume knob. (knob = volume, knob + finger on a node = tone)... I imagine this whole thing being a tricky one because of all the things to consider... sweaty hands, handling on stage/in dark environments. Can of worms. Best of luck to you!

Thanks for the input Daniel! A can of worms indeed. We're going to be running it through the tests with local players at jams, performances and studios to see how it reacts in different environments. Stay tuned! More videos on those updates will be coming soon.

Keep it going , at first I was thinking the touch switches would make the pickups sound like different pickup by somehow changing power or resistance? I see now it’s configurable to the pickup combinations.

I love the energy and I'm definitely looking forward to hearing more about what you guys are doing! I will be very interested to learn how the functions of your Omni Switch will compare to what is possible with Duncan's Hyperswitch? Which is also has 5 programmable positions? Can't wait to see what you guys are coming up with!

The Omni Switch has a few advantages over the Hyperswitch: 1 - Easy battery replacement 2 - We can inlay the nodes ANYWHERE on the guitar 3 - The Omni will work with active fluence pickups not just passives Stay tuned for more videos on the Omni's features and potential!

the nodes remind me of the Ibanez PL1770 from the 80's.

1:13 No moving parts? A relay is a mechanical switch. So that is incorrect. And relays are prone to failure due to their mechanical nature. whether its relays in a car, a guitar amp, or on this board...they will fail at some point. But it's true that toggle switches are usually very bad quality. Even on expensive guitars.

"A relay is a mechanical switch." Unless we're talking about a Solid State Relay... which in certain situations could be replaced by an optocoupler, which also doesn't feature any moving parts. "Even on expensive guitars." While it wasn't the blade switch I had a guitar with a rattling volume knob from the factory (play inside the mechanics). Happened to me only once and only on a PRS USA... you're right there, price doesn't tell you anything about the luck you might have or not in some cases :D
