Been rockin with Game since the days of The Documentary. This by far is my favorite song by him. Its cleverly written intercepting the realities of his own life, wrapped in a deep message of death and destruction. Annnd never knew Mya was in the video. She’s absolutely stunning. Natural beauty at its finest. Well done Game.

I wish I could remember all the forgotten songs that I used to bump during this time period, so many yet can't remember but a handful. I hea😢ard a song on the grammys yesterday that had a similar beat to this song and I went holy fuck that sounds like The Game - Dreams and suddenly I'm I teleported back into my 20s again bumping this shit while cruising town looking for some bitches. I miss the good ol days. Comment below and remind me of some other shit I'm forgetting.

This album is probably top 10 all time. From start to finish, a fuccin classic! Let’s all be honest, when the west coast was falling off The Game picked up the ball and ran with it. He kept us afloat from 2004 - 2009.

I strongly agree, however I feel his 2nd album “Doctor’s Advocate” was better than The Documentary, but dudes a legend in my eyes, I don’t care what anybody thinks of him right now, he’s in my top 20-15👌🏽

@Alonzo Harris can’t forget LAX too, his first 3 albums are all classics, I can’t decide whether LAX or The Documentary is better than the other tho, to me they’re both equally as good, Doctor’s Advocate will always remain his best tho💯he showed his true talent when he got kicked out of G-Unit, you can even hear it in Doctor’s Advocate and LAX, he was more hungry and confident in both of those albums💯despite LAX being the one he was supposed to retire off of

This dude read the book by the D.O.C. (prolific lyricist) and applied rhyming theory while being laid out on his bed. Maybe new rappers can tear a page or two out that book and adapt it to something modern in 2024 and make it go hard like this jam hit back then.
