Lot of people don't know this but, The Gap brothers were really talented and it was a pleasure working with them and seeing it all unfold. Charlie would do all his vocals in one take, unbelievably talented! I laid all of the ground tracks on this one at Capitol Records studio in Hollywood back in 1983. I remember this session like yesterday. R.I.P. Robert and Ronny!

Those were fun times! Great music from both the 70s and the 80s. Yes, they were more innocent times but that was before "social media". Sadly I don't think folks are capable of going backward...I mean ...[generalizing here] you wish for a return to those times which were mostly giant cellphone free, no one had a computer. We'd get our news from tv/radio, newspapers and magazines. Guys would actually have to wander out of their parents basements to find the young lady he was interested in to talk/hang out and go to her parents house to ask for a date. How on earth would we even be able to go back to all that without some messed up scenario? LOL.

It could get awkward. It could become most definitely painful. Some of us would fall down, repeatedly, but nobody seemed to mind. I'm using my husband's phone but we're in our late 50s now and love being part of Gen X. No cell phones, Internet, we got out and met people, went to parties and clubs and danced, everyone was in shape too bc we were out doing stuff unlike some ( not all) kids today. Great times, wish I could go back but at least I enjoyed it once 🎉 God bless everyone reading this

@Apple Let's just say late 40's I was a breakdancer in 1983-85 I was one of the 'cool kids' in my junior high BUT I was treated like a total loser in early high school, when breakdancing went 'out of style' after 1984. I stuck with it because I was hitting my teenage strength and was getting better and started to be able to get the harder gymnastic moves like windmills. So, I gave it up. In a way, it's too bad - about 10 years ago, I was in Hollywood and I saw the new generations of Breakers and they were FANTASTIC. They were doing moves that I could only visualize in my imagination.
