I visit Charlotte quite often and after watching your channel, everything makes sense now…. So much construction going on. Far as Wilkerson Blvd, I’ve been sensed they were gonna get that area, those views driving into Uptown from Wilkerson are gorgeous, esp at night

Thank you for showing us these videos I really appreciate all the videos that you have given us. Its educational. Its great to see Charlotte becoming such a great city. I can't believe how fast its booming . they are not playing games. For those people that are wasting time doing nothing in a booming city when you need to step up your game to become bigger and better in life . better quality of life , better financially , educational in order to keep up with a progressive city for opportunities. if your not doing that, then your crazy. why would you not when all this progress is in your face

The light rail line you’re speaking about is the proposed silver line going from Belmont to the airport to uptown (downtown) up independence to Matthews. There will be a 3rd phase for the gold line as well that takes the train up Beatties Ford ending at the Rosa Park bus station and also on the other end it will take the train up Central Ave ending at Eastland Mall

Thank you! For all of your videos. This is a very deep and moving video. It is also a wake up call for the Black masses in this country. We need to develop our own like you said in your other video. I'm originally born and raised in Brooklyn NY. They pretty much done the same exact thing in the boroughs of NYC. Remember Bedford-Stuyvesant was once one of the toughest areas in Brooklyn. White folks came along and cleaned it up! Even renamed the area something else. This is just the beginning of things to come in America for poor Black folks. Remember: "It's All About Conquering And Dividing!" They thought by fixing up and raising the rents outrageously high in some of these neighborhoods within the boroughs, would push us not only out of the picture, but further South. It's about to get not only serious, but so critical my Brother! It's their agenda to erase as many of us as possible out of the picture. Poor people are going to start losing it!

Great video Langston. I remember my older step brother Eric was attending Western Carolina University back in the early 1980's. I asked him about Johnson C. Smith University and he said it was a slum school.

Thanks for sharing. As someone who is thinking of moving to Charlotte, I currently live in NE DC, this is interesting. As many people know, gentrification has been going on for years in DC and now I am seeing it occur all over the south. With that being said, are there any affluent neighborhoods in the city limits of Charlotte that is all black?? As someone who lives in the DC city limits, but on the outskirts(not downtown DC), I would highly recommend buying something in the city. My place doubled in 7 years after I saw some of the changes happening. It appears the same is going on in Charlotte now.

The two links I commented were supporting what you were saying. They showed the light rail to the airport and the way they were going to redo the area around the airport. Keep providing the informative videos.

Charlotte will have no HOODS and the sad part some people don’t even see the changes ! And won’t upgrade themselves for these changes . I laugh when People still talk about section 8 smh 🤦🏾♀️ and cheap apartments it’s a thing of the PAST!

Brooklyn was in the 3rd ward. Think NASCAR Museun, Whole Foods - that area. Where Brooklyn Village Rd is, uptown
