I agree with you 💯 and depress persons don't open up about their having mentally depression. And a lot of the time their family doesn't even know that was sad all time being to themselves not eating right not sleeping well. These are some of the signs you can look for in a person that is depressed. It's just sad to see young people you know doing this.

@kindinot they keep organs alive..via keeping you 'alive'.. but the soul of person is gone. The brain/soul..gone. The organs, alive. Different things. My dad went into cardiac arrest. For weeks. Hope held. We saw him in vegetative state.. saw a fight.. then acceptance by him. And he was there.. but..also gone. Then..he was just gone. Within minutes of releasing him, he was gone.. but he had been gone.. he hadn't responded..a nod, a blink. A squeeze of hand. Alive..by machines, but he, him, dad, had left us a day before.. I've asked my sons.. give me a fighting chance, but don't keep me in a place I no longer belong.

Lillian, you are strong. I can see that you are going on with life and I wish you and Leonard the best. starr b I will never understand. Sometimes treatment is not enough. I battle depression cannot imagine committing suicide but I have thought about it a few times.cant explain but just the actual act I cannot. I am broken though in 2013 I lost someone to this. The method in how it occurred was not by their own hands (sorry I never said this) a suicide email was sent but they I guess it was suicide by cop...there. I lived with them and had no idea it was this bad. I was the one who got them to seek help...I thought it would be ok and that it helped that I understood. This is hard....but I just missed it somehow. They even wore a wristband for the suicide prevention number and promised they would call if needed. So apparently how you think something will occur isn’t how it happens. And I mean obviously we never know but I just didn’t realize that even with help sometimes it just isn’t enough and that love can’t always save🤔. Sorry if this is all over the place but I hope you understand what I was trying to convey. God bless her for sharing this story

@@PureRHOty Tissa Chelle Thank you for sharing. I can't type a long comment right now so I can't comment on the situation with your friend, but I want to say one thing. I've been depressed for 5 years, but getting the diagnosis of chronic depression in Januari of this year was freeing in a way. I've learned to try and accept it, even though I'll never be cured of it. It actually helps me get the most out of my life, since I have been very heavily depressed, suicidal and self harmed. I have a lot of help, go to a special college, found the right medication and supplements and have had lots of therapy which has helped me to understand my situation and symptoms and work on my depression proactively, if that makes sense. I hope you are doing well. If you want to talk let me know and I'll leave my Facebook, Instagram or whatever works for you, or you can leave yours.

So all these changes with all the drug overdoses aren’t helping the people that really need it which is 😞 so now I maybe get 2-3 hours a night ,I’m just lost and fed up ......I’m glad you are getting the help you need all the best to you !🙌

Suicide doesn't end your pain, it just passes it on to someone else. My sister, a 911 dispatcher for 30 years spent many a night talking to callers about that fact, convincing them NOT to pass that pain on to loved ones.

Good for her and for him for making that lifesaving decision! I am appalled at people not wanting to donate, they sure would want a lifesaving organ if the shoe was on the other foot. She's a strong young women and I'm sure she's a wonderful Mom.

OMG.😔 My heart 💔 breaks just listening 2 the wife. She was very brave, & made what had 2 b the hardest decision imaginable. To agree 2 share the face of a man loved so dearly, is truly an inspiration. We should all look 2 stories like hers 2 understand loss & the gift of giving 2 bring another man's loss. Just phenomenal.💞💫💖😊

In a moment of desperation, he gave up. But, the way she talks about him, says he was loving and kind, too. I like how something positive came of it.
